The face lifted Endeavour will make it to India by this year end or early next year.

The pic that you are seeing is of the Ford Ranger which is a Pick-up truck version of the Endeavour. The rear will be different and will have the 7 seater configuration.

However, Expect the front to be exactly similar.

Super-butch this! Enough to stir up things.
Would the Interior space, seating position change? Seating in the present Endy. is not so comfy with knees up position in almost all rows.
Also if Ford could tweak the Ride quality, this Endy would be a formidable force.

PS: Noticed the raked front Windscreen, a very good thing indeed.

Btw, the best time for introduction of this beast seems "NOW"!

now, thats what i call a proper butch looking SUV. This would certainly add much needed character to the Ford Endy. Toyota better watch out!!

Think there is an old thread related to the new Ford Ranger.
In that the next gen Endeavour has been already discussed.
The things that Ford has to watch out for is the rear suspension(no leafs this time please) and more comfortable (read higher and better thigh support) in the rear seats. this gonna make T-fort worry.

But isn't the ENDEAVOUR a rebadged EVEREST and not a station wagon version of the Baywatch SPLASH?

Baywatch Splash?
The Endeavour is a rebadged for India Everest still, it's a wagon body on the Ford Ranger or the Mazda BT-50.
P.S- ooh,my 500th post.clap:

Another blockbuster from Mustang ! clap: So with this facelift, what all is supposed to change ? I heard terrible reviews of the ride comfort in this car. Will that be addressed? And any new features to be added to the existing ones?

And yes, it does look HEAVY !!

I wish the pick-up would come on its own. It will be a niche product for sure, but what a change it will be on the roads.

@Dot Yes the pickup version will be a change, but after the slow selling Tata Xenon i doubt any manufacturer would introduce pick ups in a hurry. If they introduce this as a pick up it would be 15L plus, would get hardly any buyers.

Agreed. But then again it is a Tata or Mahindra (Getaway) we are considering whose SUV cousins rule the roost. So competition is kind of in-house. A true-blue American pickup with a Hemi type engine will be in a different league altogether. No doubt sales will be low, like the exotics, but the manufacturer will factor in this aspect for sure.

The Ranger surely looks big and will have a very good presence on road. But the Ranger being a pick-up truck, the possibility of a leaf suspension at the rear is very high, which is not good for the Endeavour !

Is there a good viable market in India for this sort of pickup SUV at this range? It looks like it will create a niche market if it really makes good here.
I guess, the standard Endy SUV will also get this facelift if this is to launch in India. IMO this looks better than the existing Endy outlook.

Well, I should be frank I am not surprized at all. Ford Ranger coming into India was something I was sure for a long time.
I know the car was tested in all conditions to make sure it was rugged to stand anything in the world. The vehicle is tested in conditions of US, Dubai, Thailand, Australia and Sweden.

Only change would be to get a hardtop on this. Moreover, the Endevour was also a Mazda collab. So they would have been working on getting rid of this.

As mentioned by most dont think the Pick up would be coming here at all.

Now that is what you call a proper Ford SUV! A massive leap over the current Endeavour. Any info on the engines, spec and pricing Mustang?

Looks much better than the current boxy endeavor. But isn't next year too far away? Also if a outlander diesel comes into picture, then things will be very difficult for ford. But then better late than never.
