I dont have enough posts yet so i cant dm you personally, but my father has a ford fiesta zxi 2007 which we might re-register as 15 years are up, one thing is insurance and the idv value. Can you tell me whats your idv value so i basically have an estimate and how would you calculate it. One more thing, we didnt use the car for years as my fathers job had been transferred abroad so the last time he had any insurance was years ago. Tried to see if i could get a claim from acko etc, but theyre not showing it beyond 2021 on their online portal,just wanted to know if i wanted insurance what would be my best option

I am being told the same by RS for a renewal request with no claims made in the last 2 years! Basically that "renewal is not possible to due to non-eligibility and on being asked why, I was told it's due to an "internal update". Finding this to be really confusing and opaque as well. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I have RTI addon in the current policy perhaps?
Question to the OP, did RS come around based on your escalation or did something else force a change of heart on their end?
