Loaner car - Are there any rules?

I'm planning to leave my car for a minor body shop work. My guess is that the car has to be in the workshop for at least 2 days.

Since the workshop is going to be a TASS, I know, even if I'm asking for a loaner car during regular service, the response would be "Sir, at the moment no loaner car available".

What I'm planning is: to leave the car only when there is a loaner car available in the service station.

My question is - Are loaner cars available only during scheduled services? Or, they can be availed even for works such as the above?

You can avail the Loaner car for any work more than 2days. This however is at the discretion of the service station.

I usually send my car only if Loaner car is available.
For regular Service they won't provide Loaner car.
But they have to give if there is any manufacturing defects and more than 2 days of work.

Just called up the TASS(Tafe Reach, Chennai) buggers.

The guy who picked up the call wasn't aware of what a loaner car is, then when I explained him what a loaner car is and my need, he replied that there is no option like that.

Now, how to proceed with my ever-useless TASS service personals?
