Chennai Citroen dealeship shuts down | C3 Aircross stuck at service centre since 2 weeks

I bought a C3 Aircross AT 3-4 months ago from Maison Citroen Chennai (Ramani Cars). This dealer and service centre shut down at the end of May. Since then Chennai has been functioning without even one Citroen service station.

My car has been with them for the last 2 weeks for a 2 day's job. Numerous complaints to Citroen on social media and direct email have failed to evoke any kind of responsible intervention from Citroen.

The new service dealer, VTK, refuses to provide any information proactively and keeps delaying any commitments made by them.

Can anyone suggest if a legal recourse for something like this is possible? Can a brand be allowed to sell a vehicle in a city when there are no service facilities?

This has been extremely frustrating. New buyers in Chennai - please beware! VTK can make your life miserable.

Thanks.

I understand the dealer you bought from has shutdown, but there is another authorized Service center, what seems to be the issue with VTK providing regular services.

Yes I will also advice to be wary of such a lackadaisical attitude brand.

What is your car in for? Is bodyshop or service related? Is there an issue with spares or some other problem?

I was looking for Citroen cars in Coimbatore and found multiple permanently closed locations on Google maps. Probably the same Coimbatore based Ramani cars closed down. Dealers shutting shop so soon is worrying enough, Citroen not taking responsibility is shocking, Maruti however established they are still take customer complaints very seriously.
