Brother thats the pits.
You make sure that you try and get the door replaced. Cause the repaint will never be as good as the orignal.
Knock on whoevers door you want but try and make sure yopu get the door replaced.
If you want a few of us could go there together and preassurize them.
If that helps.

Buddy, I can understand your feeling! After having spent good money on something and to have it damaged by some idiot is frustrating. Hope you'd have got it back in original condition.

Possible. I had been there with him to take delivery. It was late evening.
We checked the door. Couldn't make out any damage.

Come to think of it @shuvd, did we ask them how they repaired it ? I guess not. Anyway, no blemishes or scars.

At idle, while outside, the engine does make its presence felt. But once inside and on the move, it's difficult to tell it apart from a petrol.

I guess, @shuvd is out of a looong night drive.

If i were you i would not take this car and instead note that serial number and get in touch with right authorities at GMI and demand a new car.

GM is very serious on addressing customer's concerns. I think its the only manufacturer in India which takes its customers seriously.

I can say this with experience as i also own a Chevy ... but its Aveo.

Hehehe. Just came back from a slow speed drive.
Thanks everyone for your support. The Magnum Force is back!

Went to the A.S.S. with shuvc. Checked the door quite minutely. Couldn't find any mismatch.

We indeed forgot to ask them what they had done.
On seeing the Force, I became very excited and all the rage just disappeared. They didn't charge me (obviously). Maybe they replaced the door. I left the workshop approximately at 5:30 on Saturday and they close at 6:30. Sunday they are closed and they called me at 12 today saying the car was ready. Could they have repaired and painted the door in this time?
Anyway, I'm happy.

Congrats mate...enjoy the Magnum...let the FORCE be with you ...but do call and check what they did...let them realize you aint another easy customer who will walk away without a question once the job is done.

This is where they take us for granted
