Shahwar Nissan is no more an authorized Nissan dealer

Received a text message from Nissan. The kind of bulk messages they send to customers. Not sure if this news deserves a new thread, mods please merge if necessary.

Shahwar Nissan probably is one of the oldest Nissan dealers in the country.

Nissan revamping?

Must be more like Shahwar revamping!

The only vehicles Nissan are selling in India Today are the Kicks & GT-R. I don't see how dealerships can sustain themselves with that kind of a product portfolio.

There isn't a Nissan dealership within 250 kms from my neighborhood. And I wanted to check out the new 1.3 Kicks. At this rate of dwindling dealership the only kicks Nissan will get is a boot showing them the door.

Today I saw a massive construction site mentioning Shawar Nissan near Ulsoor lake. Site was covered with tall protective sheet and could not see what's happening inside. Looks like Shawar is consolidating.

re: Shahwar Nissan is no more an authorized Nissan dealer

I remember visiting Shahwar Nissan in December last year, was checking out Nissan Kicks and noticed that the entire showroom was vacant with no cars at all, though there was test drive vehicles available. When asked about the vacant showroom. they cited the reason of revamping the showroom.

I was literally thinking, what could be the reason for revamp since the sales are already low and there was no major big launch in sight.

It's been there since long! As per what I have heard, it was their stockyard.
