Exactly. Screenshot capability is not native to AOSP GB but is an add-on in custom ROMs like cyanogenmod. But in ICS, it is natively supported. Method is just like in CM7, via the power button.

Currently I have ICS and screenshot option is not appearing on pressing power button.

Sir, are you sure you have ICS? It has not been publicly released yet.

The biggest flaw for which the Google's relevant engineers should be slapped is the continuing lack of support for vcards via SMS. They just disappear when you recieve them. What a crying shame from Google.

Being used to my wife's Samsung Andriod, which has the Wi-Fi, GPS, Ringer/Vibrator, and Auto-Rotate toggle buttons located very conveniently on the pull down menu, I dont find anything on the pull down menu here. Is there a way I can put those items there? Makes no sense to hunt for these items in the menu when you need to reach them in a hurry! Especially the Wi-Fi toggle! Its required so often!

The best way to get those things in the pull down bar is to root the damn phone and install CM7 for ZTE Blade. (Dell xcd 35). The phone will have overall better health with CM7 too.

Yes. Check the xda forums for nexus s. There is an unofficial ROM but with bugs.

It's not even an unofficial rom but an sdk port. Wait for the official rom or a port for correct functionality.

Anyone running CM7 on their Galaxy S i9000 ?

I have it, its way better than Darky's 10.2.2 in terms of consistent speed and memory management.

However, when i get an incoming call, the person can never hear me! (Unless i call back). Any ideas on how to fix this?

What ar eyou guys discussing here? I run CM 7.1, android 2.3.7 on my Samsung GT S5570 Mini aka pop.

The 2.3.7 code was actually meants for the Nexus 4S, but shouldn't make a difference if you install it on any other phone. The CM7.1 mod is based on that software. I don't prefer the custom mods for various reasons and prefer the plain vanilla android updates, one of the reason I went in for the nexus.

I'm not sure in defy..but in my older Samsung Galaxy - A Vcard received via BT will be stored in the received files in BT folder. If you open the file and press register, the name is added to the Contacts directory.

:OT

Now: @ Phamilyman - I've successfully imported my contacts via gmail into my defy - But the defy contact list is empty and i am wondering how to import these contacts into Motorola's contacts???

Am I making sense :Shockked:

I too ordered a Dell XCD35 from letsbuy.com for 7780/-. For quick access to wi-fi, bluetooth etc, I believe there is a widget you can add on any of the homescreens.

How did you get one that cheap! Used a code? When I saw LB was offering something like 8200+.

Congrats on your buy! Did you try the long press menu on the home screen?

The long press is another thorn. i miss the Task Manager there!

just get "widgetsoid" from the market.
you dont need a heavy launcher.
you can place one widget with toggles for wifi, BT, data, gps, torch etc.

Thanks so much man! This should make life easy!

I will do that eventually but wanted to enjoy (suffer) the original!

I noticed something weird in my phone. I ordered the phone on 29th October. It got delivered on 1st November. But there's a camera photo in my phone which is dated 28th of August!!! The phone was seal packed when I opened it. Does it mean I have been sold a used phone???

Most probably it was a test pic prior to dispatch from the factory.
