Not this one due to vitamin M deficiency :(

As such, I did use snapdeal at many occasions - to get coupons, mostly food and furniture related.
In that case, all we need to do is take printout of coupon, go the the dealer who actually provides the service.
So the service was good to use.

However, not sure how this works out for mobiles.

Nope, the deals from Snapdeals are looking so tempting that I doubt they are actually traps.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Sygic navigation application is just awesome. My friend loaded this in my SGS2 and i can confirm that this application is spot on and does a fantastic job.

The GPS is live and as your car goes under the over bridge the same reflects in your phone.

The Application can be used with specific maps downloaded and is one of the ebst i have ever used.

SGS2 became a GPS navigation unit in one single application. Never liked Google maps implementation in these apps. Takes forever for loading maps and hated them.

Yes it has Swype. Its available default on Samsung galaxy Y. It was also available in Nokia C7.

I am not sure about the Indian languages, as its not installed on the phone.

Sygic drinks battery.
You can pre-cache a map area in google maps under wifi so that it won't take any time to load when your are on the move. IMO, sygic sucks when I am in the city. It doesn't even have half the detail google maps have.

Been using the neo v for a week now, The battery life i get on an average is 1.5 days on full charge with more than moderate usage of apps and games.
But in no way it is comparable to my E72's battery life.

Yes GB comes pre loaded. I bought it from Flipkart for 17.5.
Plus a Class 4 32 GB micro sd card for 2.5k from flipkart(which works like a charm by the way on the phone).

Yes it is possible. It has been already posted in this thread before.

Check this thread. Download DroidSans_fallback font from there and replace the same in your /system/fonts folder.

Requirements - root access and S-OFF (in HTC)

How to: (Adb method)
Connect your phone to PC, in PC take a command prompt
C:\> adb remount
C:\> adb shell
#su
# cd system/app
# rm DroidSansFallback.ttf
(if you want to back it up then use the following line instead of the line above)
# mv DroidSansFallback.ttf DroidSansFallback.ttf.bak
# exit
C:\> adb push DroidSansFallback.ttf /system/fonts

or you can do it with any root explorer in the phone itself.
