Hi All,

Currenty enjoying Sansung Galaxy 3 , I had following questions

1) How can i see my sms folders ( like draft / sent / outbox ). Does it delete / hide the old messages ? i seems to have lost quite a few. How can i search them

2) Can i use some pre defined / downloaded maps ( garmin ) to nevigate ? i do not wish to use GPRS ( which is very expensive ).

3) Can i have more themes for my Phone , I am getting sick of the existing one .

4) Is is possible to have a top level folder likes games and then have all the games listed inside the folder ( i have downloaded around 30 games ) and now have to scroll 4-5 pages.

5) Can i lock one folder ... i wish to keep some files ( like my resume ) private .... I do not wish to let ever one ( who wants to take a virtual tour ) see my private files.

6) How can i see % of Battery remaining.

Thanks a lot . It has been fun filled 2 months. Feel free to ask my any question about the phone.

Two applications that I am aware of are Brutmaps and RMaps. I am using RMaps.

Thanks. Thats good to know.

I read somewhere that one can't install apps on the memory card in Android 2.1 ?

Isn't 150 MB onboard memory too low for apps ?

I think only application files would reside on the phone memory, rest userdata would go on to memory card.

Is your phone branded too? If you bought it unlocked, it may not be branded! The reason I debranded my phone was because my phone was stuffed with Rogers bloatware and settings! And I didn't find any of those useful to me. And about the update, why to wait for your carrier if the update is available already and compatible with your phone!

I just love the Live wallpapers & HD recording! the new UI looks ultra cool & all the new softwares works like a dream.
Good to know. Cheers and have fun with your X10! Keep XDA X10 forums in mind if you have any queries.

I have both of them. Both are good in their own ways but frankly, I seem to like my Xperia more!

I'm already feeling the pinch on my xperia x10 mini pro. Memory full and can't install more apps.
However, if one roots the phone, there are applications available to help install applications on to the sd card.
The possibilities then are limitless. I intend to root the phone after 1 year.

An update to FroYo will enable the phones to store apps to the SD card. But until then we are out of luck. HTC just recently announced that FroYo is coming to Legend in the coming weeks. So I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Is Froyo same as Android 2.2 ?

If that's the case, Galaxy 3 should be upgradable to this OS, and hence able to use SD card for apps. Right ?
