In any case 3G is so expensive right now! 250MB package for 200 rupees! How many days would it work at 3G speeds?

Easy solution is get the 2400 rupees pack by BSNL with 6month validity and 12 GB limit. We will hardly use this and BSNL has fantastic 3G signal and speed.

I am ready to use my Airtel sim on a simpler phone for calls, while use the BSNL on my S2 for mails, web, facebook and what not.

BSNL rocks.

If you want better offer with 6 months validity get the 5000 rupees pack which gives 30GB.

comes to around 5GB per month at around 835 rupees or 2 GB PM @ 400 rupees.

Now one thing I admire about HTC is their build quality.

The horror story part- well, some of it was true and continues to stay so, especially the tariff part. I was using BSNL 3G much before they launched commercially, since i had a test sim (only data, no calls possible)

I am not particularly inclined to BSNL, but with my data plan, i have 512MB as part of package + 6GB as part of migration from old tariff available. My usage hardly crosses 2GB/month. Using a SGS2 right now, and surprisingly got speeds of 4.2mbps couple of days back. 2009 when they were testing, and during the commercial launch, the biggest problem was voice handover between 2G<>3G. 2010 onwards, this seems to be a lesser devil. 2011, i have not encountered any issues yet.

i dont know i just installed the rom recently. i think the icon is not showing correct.

but yes the phone is not yet dead. i used wifi too for long time.

i dint plug it to charger at all.

then i think when i copied the songs in my phone yesterday it must have got some charge through the usb.

that means its not having greater battery life

You have mis understood me completely. When I say Android is a power hog I compared it with iOS but that doesnt means that implying iOS is better or vice versa and neither am I comparing iPhone with Samsung. I just that power management on iOS is miles ahead of Android.

Try RCOMLB1, this gives a Rs.1000 discount on letsbuy.
Can these coupons be used for COD option ?

Has anybody come across any flipkart coupons ? Unlike letsbuy there arent any discount coupons for flipkart. Why is that ?
