When is the new Ipad Refresh getting launched? I am planning for one, should i wait for Ipad refresh or go-ahead with the present Ipad new..?

If you can wait then wait for the 4th gen iPad. With faster processor it performs better than the 3rd Gen.

I thought they were launched around Xmas and remember seeing them at Reliance Digital, Residency Road, Bangalore. I do have the 4th Gen 32GB Wifi only iPad, but bought from Singapore. I could see them available at flipkart -

Thanks, i was checking with Univercell Chennai last week and i couldn't find one. They don't have any clue also regarding the latest Ipad. Will check with Reliance digital this week.

Bought the new 4th Gen iPad couple of weeks back from HS18

This ones with

- Dual-core A6X with quad-core graphics
- Lightning to USB Cable

Dont know the other changes over the 3rd Gen.

The front camera was upgraded to a 1.2 MP cam - helps if you FaceTime often.

Does Ipad 4th Gen heats up terribly?

I have checked both Ipad 4th Gen and Ipad Mini. I couldn't see much of difference in performance expect the viewing experience of the retina display in Ipad 4. Actually mini seems to lighter and not as small as the other Tabs in market. Got confused after seeing Ipad mini.

^^ No i havent had any heating up issues with the ipad4. I have been using it quite a lot to watch movies, paying games, reading etc. But yea rightly pointed, ipad4 is quite heavy when compared to mini but then for me the size of mini was just too small for a tablet, i preferred the larger ipad screen size. So in the end its a personal choice

If you plan to use extensive graphics (read: games, movies, A/V editing) = iPad 4
If you do productivity stuff then iPad Mini. More portable but considerably slower than ipad4.

Have got ipad 4 cellular few days back and it get just slight warm to touch on left side, but very slight hardly noticeable, only while running games. Only problem i am facing is charging time, takes too much time to charge compared to my ipad 2.

Thanks friends.. I don't know why the IPad displayed in Phoenix Market City seems to get heated unbearably. While i inquired the same to Sales Executive he told that its because of continues use from visitors.

All the apple products i have seen on display are kept with maximum brightness, that is one reason for heat. Also many apps are running in background and screen is always on.
