Veo Stingray Webcam Issue.

Hello guys,

I have been using Veo Stingray 330Vwebcam with windows XP SP2. I recently upgraded to windows 7 and strangely windows just wont auto install its driver. I have lost the original driver cd and have been looking up for its drivers over the internet, but the ones listed just wont make the device work.
I tried using the same on my friends PC which is running Windows XP SP3 and the device wont work on that either. However, once i removed SP3 (i.e. system is back on SP2) the device started working fine

So it quite clear the problem is the device compatibility with windows.
Before i go and buy a new webcam, i thought would ask the members here, if they could provide any help on the same.

I have attached a sample pic of my cam.

Open the webcam and check what microchip its running. Search online for it and you will find the drivers you need.

Cheers

As per my understanding, drivers are based on the device ID which is same as the serial mentioned on the device. That is the same for which i looked up for the drivers, however have failed to get one for windows 7 :(
