I'm looking to buy a new laptop in the range of ₹50K-₹60K. Stumbled across this laptop with the following specs.

Thank you so much @bijims for the suggestions. Well, I literally don't even know the L of laptops. So my assumptions might be wrong. I've heard that HP laptops are more reliable than Asus, Acer, Dell, Lenovo etc. and A$$ of HP is better than the others. So my first preference is HP.

My requirement for a laptop which can handle all college duties (AutoCAD), fulfill my itch for gaming, be reliable and have a good battery backup.

This one has a very weak Graphics card(GPU) and will not satisfy your gaming itch.

Go for this one-

https://gaming.unboxparadigm.com/p/l...b00v5in-0834a/

This one has an 8 core CPU and a proper GPU(RTX 3050). Lenovo is considered to be the best in gaming, much better than HP. And IMO, HP being more reliable than Lenovo may have been the case a decade back.

You can also go for this one if 60k is the hard limit-

https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0B7RXL89Z?...ogi&th=1&psc=1

You can use this site to filter out the laptops as per your requirement-

If HP is what you want, go for this one-

Limited-time deal: HP Victus Gaming Laptop, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H, 4GB RTX 3050 GPU, 15.6-inch (39.6 cm), FHD, IPS, 144Hz, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, Backlit KB, B&O, 9ms response time, Dual speakers (Blue, 2.37 kg), fb0106AX https://amzn.in/d/06nwciX0

One advantage of the HP is that it has more RAM. But, it has lower powered GPU(75w vs 85w on Lenovo).

Since several people are recommending Lenovo LOQ series on this thread, just a word of caution.

Several reports of motherboard failure are coming out, especially in the Intel-based 2024 models in the LOQ series. A quick search on Google and YouTube with key words "LOQ motherboard issue" will throw you several links. It seems Lenovo has become reluctant to replace these laptops and issue refund (seems initially they did)

So, please check and take an informed decision.
