And am very happy with their range and quality. I have not tried the Cisco or Netgear. But can vouch that the Belkin will not let you down. It's got fantastic range and great speeds too. there is a clear difference between the share and playmax versions. The playmax having dual antennas makes a difference in the range as well as speed offered in the same room. So would highly recommend the playmax over the share. Another difference is that the share has only one USB slot, whereas the Playmax has 2. So you can hook up a External hard drive and other gear as well. Do you have two Belkins, and if yes which one you find better in terms of range and speed. Is this the one you bought Yes have the share and the playmax HD both. Position the modem in a way that its not sitting in a corner with both sides against the wall. Identify an area in your apartment from where you get max field of vision of the whole apartment. That point or a nearby area is the best place to keep the modem. Also if it has 2 arial keep one vertical and the other horizontal. |
