Quickdraw, are you sure they we can buy them tomorrow at the Apple India store?

Another related question: when (if at all) is the 3GS coming to India? And why is it that all other Apple products apart from the iPhone seem to come almost immediately after the US launch whereas the IPhone seems to take for ever?

I mentioned browse the catalog for prices. Nothing about buying it. And about the iPhone thing is they are sold through Airtel and Vodafone and not Apple themself.

I felt left out so I thought I might join the Mac gang on here.
Using a Macbook Pro 2.6GHz, 2GB ram, 512 MB graphic memory. It's 16 months old and looks/performs as good as the day I bought it.

Problem with Apple stores in India is that they are franchises, not apple OWNED and managed stores. So these franchises are as clueless as us, when it comes to new product launches. Its high time that Apple set up their own store in India, one of the fastest growing mobile markets and economy in the world.

Rudra, that would be a new thread, :-)
I remember seeing some older pics at a tBhp meet and one of your older imac's was called 'Rudra' !!

Well, I do everything i did on my earlier computer more efficiently on my Mini.
2D-Design, Audio editing and a lil bit of video.
Office work and the works with iworks
easy life with iLife!
essentially anything domestic or profession.

@thejas - thank you.

Open Applications folder and the Utilities folder within that. Open Network Utility. This will show u the IP address of ur machine.

Drop down on the network interface to get IP for ethernet and/or WIFI.

You dont need to goto command prompt to get the IP :-)

Alright, my 2 cents - whoever makes the switch to a Mac from Windoze, I am sure they will stick to Mac and never go back to Windows again!

I am one of them
