Went to mall and Nokia had a stall showing the N95. Went there asked for a demo.

SG (salesgirl) - Sir fone has 5 mp camera blah blah blah blah
Me - Stop. Tell me is this phone wifi enabled.
SG - Yes
Me - 3G ?
SG - Yes
Me - Edge ?
SG - uh umm edge...yes
Me- Sure
SG - Yes
Me - Sure 100 % ?
SG- Wait ..calls another guy.
Me - Show me the GPS
SB(sales boy) - Yes sir

And he explains something like there are inbuilt maps and you can use to pinpoint a location and helps in driving directions. but now we are not connected to any satellite as we are inside the mall
Me - accha then if we sit in the car and its got a roof , can we connect to satellite ?
SB - what ?? uh ummm yes
Me- but you said we are covered and can't connect to satellite, so if I am travelling by car do I need to get down and stand on the road so that I connect to the satellite ?
SB - laughs sheepishly.
Me - show me D N Road in the GPS map thats inbuilt
SB tries hard but no luck - maps not updated.
Me - D N Road is the main road in Fort , how can that not be included in the map ? anyways try L B S Road.
SB - tries , no luck - maybe spelling mistake.
Me - Thank you , I am taking a brochure for the phone if you don't mind.

And I left.

Most of the N Series phones are slow because Nokia is still using the same processor from 6630! While the screen resolution and color depth has increased. The operating system has also changed.

N95 although has a newer and faster processor and therefore is considerably faster than for example a N73me!

that sucks man..I would suggest get a nice Garmin PDA GPS,and buy the Satguide or mapking GPS India city maps..they are atleast better !!!..plus,will get the package cheaper than this kind of useless GPS map data in the N95..even though it's might be a great phone..

Let me get this straight..
N95 is a great phone... but we should still opt for a nice Garmin PDA .

Read my original post including the review - the N95 is not meant for hard-core GPS users. If you are one, dont bother looking at it. Buy a regular phone-phone and a GPS device.

Garmin maps are expensive, though. They are probably the best, but they are extremely expensive.

Infractions: 0/1 (5)

Nokia 6233 prices have been slashed to an unbelievable 9150 Rs! Its a lot of phone for that money.

You are giving gyaan on Mumbai now? I though these things meant nothing to you. Irla exists as a place, for cheap cellular phones, even though your chick doesn't stay there.
