I did consider samsung s20fe but this one seemed better in specs hence went with it.
I would assume 5g uses up more juice as compared to 4g. Atleast Ookla says that. The battery drain is higher by around 6% to 11%, if I am not wrong.
Maybe a visit to service centre might help?

Thank you for the suggestion of s20fe, will surely check it out.

Coming from a Note, I would say 15 Pro Max would be the ideal fit.
Thought about it, but couldn't convince myself for an extra 40K for the phone.

Secondly, I still use the pen very much, so that would have been a miss!

Hi, I am looking to pick up the Galaxy A54 for my wife. She's currently using the Galaxy A31 which is showing its age and more importantly has some touchscreen issues at select areas on the screen (probably due to a fall).
I use A54 and it is a good phone. The only issue I have is the weight. It should meet your requirements. My feedback - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/gadge...ml#post5600655 (Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods)

A54 looks like it might be a good choice for me! I have never had a Samsung phone before, but my wife has had them for past several years.

I cannot quite let go of fascination with Pixel a7a. But Flipkart has been saying out of stock in my area for past few days. On a hunch, I tried a few random products: all are out of stock in my area!

I do not live anywhere isolated: a Chennai suburb only ten to twelve km short of the city centre. Any ideas why I should be getting this response from Flipkart? It's not that I want to buy stuff from them these days, except that for Google Pixel there isn't a choice.

Get it delivered to someone you know where delivery is available and pick it from there. That's what I've been doing for some of my undeliverable items and even old phone exchange which is not always available in my area.

Sure, that is possible, but unwanted hassle.

Yep true that. But in case there is no other option for an expensive phone like Pixel that seems the only way to go. My friend had bought one from an Amazon reseller, didn't face any issues but was risky purchase nonetheless.

Re: The Mobile Phone Thread - Queries, decisions, discussions all here

After entering the vortex of Andoroid phone models confusion, ordered oneplus nord 3 on Amazon. 16gb ram and 256 gb storage. Now I understood how Apple has made it soo simple to choose their phone models. if you have more money, buy the latest and get the best features. simple. Phew, I was wondering why there are so many sub brands, ranges or series ( Samsung - Z, S, A, M etc. Oneplus- Open, Ace, R, nord etc). Under each series there are sub models. For example - oneplus nord 3, nord 3CE, nord 3CE Lite. I wonder who can keep track of what feature is present or absent in each of these models. Looks like their motto is - 'if you can't convince, confuse'!

Confused I was. Luckily my friend already had oneplus nord 2T. with his help zeroed in on 'nord 3' model. used his icici credit card and got 3k offer + 3k from amazon festival sale. final cost 32k. Currently I am using Samsung M30 and it has slowed down considerably. And OS also is android 10. So it was time for me to make this purchase. Will give a feedback after using it for couple of months.

cheers

I tried with some random Chennai pincodes and it shows as available and delivery in 2 days. Just check if the issue is specific to your account. Try Flipkart website in private browser and without login to your account and check the availability on that particular pincode.

Thank you. Could you try 600041 for me please? Also I'll check another browser. But only seen this problem in last few days

No seller ships to your PIN. I tried other two random Chennai PIN to check. They deliver to one and other one shows same issue as yours.

Thank you very much for checking it out. I really can't believe it!

It rather rules out the Pixels for me, for now. Available from Amazon, but over 40k and there's the added risk, as mentioned. Anyway, I wanted something smaller with a good camera but was unhappy about only 128Gb storage with no card slot.

Perhaps I'll put Samsung a54 top of the list.

I was also looking at A54. But saw that it weighs at 200+ grams. That was a big put off for me.
Now looking at Moto Edge 40 and Egde 40 neo.

Have a look at S21fe too. Much lighter, with nearly all the same features of a54, but for a notch lower on camera quality.

I just love my pixel 3a for its form factor. So compact and easy to hold. It’s sad that there’s nothing from the pixel lineup that matches this size anymore.
