Not much difference other than the form factor IMHO!

See this Comparison

Anyone here using Hutch_Access or Airtel's Mobile_office GPRS plans ?

few questions

1. what speeds are you getting ?
2. Is the billing correct ?
3. Is AV streaming or VOIP viable on the EDGE connections?

I am using Hutch_Access

Speeds totally depends upon the signal and stuff and there is a lot of congestion now days. I get around 7 - 10 though.

Billing seems to be correct. Last month i got a bill of around 140RS for the usage.

Do N70 have edge ?

Ok i have 2 queries:

1. I have N70. Its overall an average phone. It's ok not so good but not so bad. I am currently using Original body cover. Now i have searched a lot but i am unable to find the perfect fit body cover for it. The original body costs around Rs 1500 (Rs. 100 less or more). Now buying another original body doesn't make a sense. So i want to know how do BHPians save their mobiles from getting a lot of scratches ? What should i do ?

2. I am thinking of buying another phone. Maybe in a month. I will keep N70 for sure. I dont want a sony as i am application freak and i install every app i like and which can come handy later on.

So i have shortlisted N80 and N73. N73 is bulky i just saw it today and n80 is elegant. But the screen size of N80 is way too small compared to N73. But according to specs N73 is 240*320 and N80 is 352*416. I have not experienced n80 in my hands but i saw pictures on net and he screen size really looks smaller than N73.

So which one to go for. N80 have more kool features and stuff but the screen size is not good. Can anyone confirm this as no Mobile shop here had a N80, not even a dummy.

Are we talking in Bits or Bytes here. Coz the figures i quoted in my earlier post were 7 - 10 Kilo Bytes Per Sec.

the n80 screen is smaller than the n73

the n80 has a 3mp cam. wifi and the screen has higher resolution. its heavier than the n73.

the n73 has a 3.2mp cam with carl zeiss autofocus lens. it also has 2 speakers which are very loud. it weighs only 116gms and i dont know how you thik its bulky because its not.

i suggest you go for the n73 music edition. its got a 2gb mem card and better firmware with stereo widening.

but if you need wifi then the n80.

another option is to wait for the n95 which has everything you can want in a phone.
