Yeah, I guess the physical keypad helps. The only add on I found on the 311 was the wifi option.

Wi fi in my mums case is only used for the ipad which is the primary email, web browsing and e-reader device. Her Mobile Phone is only used for calls, text messages and photography.

I got lucky on thursday night and placed an order for the white A110, when Flipkart had it in stock, for a brief moment. Friday morning, I see them go out of stock again..

Now waiting for delivery..

I too had the same experience while ordering. I ordered and check again and it was out of stock. Anyways, Congrats on you new A110.

Thanks Gurudatta, but I haven't got my phone yet. I am hoping I do, but there is a chance Flipkart could call me on 22nd and request cancellation of the order, since they're waiting for their supplier to provide the device and FKdon't have stock.

A customer who'd purchased on Flipkart had a review with the same situation that happened to him and I'm guessing it could happen to me too. But let's see. If they dishonor the order, I'm going to be very disappointed with them [as is they're losing a lot of the small purchases I make online due to alternatively reliable and competetive vendors].

Nokia 920/820 will be launched in 1st week of January. Pre-orders according to some Nokia stores will start by 25th Dec.

Samsung has overtaken Nokia as the top mobile phone brand for 2012 and has opened up a decisive lead over Apple in the smartphone market, a research firm said on Tuesday.

Samsung has also extended its lead over Apple as the top maker of smartphones worldwide, the survey said. Samsung will have 28 percent of the market, up from 20 percent in 2011, while Apple's share will rise in 2012 to to 20 percent from 19 percent.

Well they did not say anything about the price, but its expected that 920 will be 40k, 820 - 30k and 620 at 20k INR. These are MRP's of course and just like any other NOKIA device the price will come down within 2 months of launch.

Congrats, How did you manage to get the S3 for such a meagre difference? Hope its with Samsung warranty?

As you have used the 4S, would love a simple comparo between the two after a few days of usage.

My friend has a link with the mobile phone dealers. I got it around the Dealer Pricing. FYI, the Dealer price for the S3 is 29750, and i got it around 30xxx, and some stores sell it at 33k and big ones at 34k. It is with Bill & 1 Year warranty.

I also registered it online. Also, there was some online offer for Samsung Galaxy S3, which gives a free 32 GB card, etc.

Comparing to the iPhone 4S, touch sensitivity, UI, easy of use, messaging - iPhone rocks! The feel of the phone looks & feels plasticy & is not firm on the hand like the iPhone.

But the Display, ability to customize, camera, battery backup - the S3 rules!

As expected.
Flipkart today, leave me disappointed with them. They called me just now to tell me that they weren't able to source a while Micromax A110 phone, from 13th Dec [when I placed my order] and that they'll have to cancel my order.

It does annoy me but what I cannot understand is when they weren't able to get a single supplier to guarantee stock of this product, why did their webpage for the same product list it as 'In Stock' yesterday [around afternoon]. I reported it here and so did another Bhpian. That's unacceptable..

Sad. Now I will surely think hard before placing orders for higher priced products with them, or maybe even not..

Keep this in mind when you order fast moving products from them [and I'm not the first customer to whom this has happened, read the white phone's reviews page].
