If you are not happy with the deal, I would be glad to buy these 2 accessories from you at the price of Rs 2K. I hope that explains it.

Is this the USIM?

I got BSNL 3G sim card today from CSC, Jayanagar. They are not sure whether it is USIM or not. They gave because it has 3G imprinted on it. Can anyone confirm ?

India is a value conscious market so for 2 K more a buyer would seriously think of either reusing a headset lying around or a preexisting BT headset and ditto is the case in US.
ohh, that means UAE is no more a cheaper market for phones!

BTW : I did not get the sense of Sony Erricson bundeling in two acessories with very similar use cases together , A clip on BT headset which you can fit on ear makes more sense if you already have a ear bud type Stereo headset
even i was wondering why they have given two earphones. i hate those vacuum type/noise reduction (or whatever they are called) earphones.

Apple's new iPad uses a 'Micro' sim card. Theses are smaller than the current mini sim cards that are used in India.

Now from a minnow, I just got my Micromax Q5 two days back.

It is a dual sim QWERTY keypad, 2MP camera, Yamaha audio processor and EDGE.

The build, fit and finish is surprisingly good for an Indian phone. The keys are also well laid out.

I will update on the performance in the days to come.

These 2 accessories are worth at least Rs 5-6K (approx), if purchased with bill and warranty. In fact, they may not even be available in India.

I had a real tough time trying to locate a similar bluetooth stereo headset in Bangalore. It cost me Rs 3.5K. (Mine doesn't even have FM receiver)

The cost of just those earphones would be more than Rs 1K per piece if purchased separately from Sony outlet.

You can always connect some other earphones/headphones of your choice through the 3.5mm jack.

Im in a doubt on which one to buy, Samsung SPICA (12K) or Samsung Jet2-8003 (13.5K). Both have very similar features.

However Jet2 has Secondary camera for 3G video calling and also has FM. With Samsung propriety OS.

On the other hand, SPICA has android OS and with that comes various out-of-box apps!

Im totally confused!

Also, any other phone in same range with similar features?

Hey devraj, even i am in the same situation.
The only main disadvantage of Spica is that it does not support Bluetooth file transfer, which ain't a deal breaker for me.
The disadvantage of Jet is that, even though it claims to be smarter than a smartphone, it doesn't support third party apps.
Many dealers here don't even keep Spica in stock as it's sales are very low!
Moreover the Jet has got a far superior AMOLED screen.
So currently i am much more inclined towards the Jet.

Guess we are in same boat then!

SPICA also doesnt support 3G video calling! Which can be a great deal in another 1-2 yrs of ownership.

However SPICA supports bluetooth file transfer if upgraded to Android 2.1

Earphones in the range of Rs 500-600 would not sound better than the earphones which you have received along with the X10.

I would recommend buying from a better brand like Sennheiser. Check out their website. Also check the Sony website, they also have decent headphones.

You could also visit a Croma outlet and check out the availability of headphones. In Bangalore, the Croma outlets stock limited models of Sony, Panasonic and Sennheiser earphones.
