Re-opening a slight old discussion between Navin & @Trust in Thrust : but about the c905 ..
Quote:
Trust_In_Thrust : @navin : Dual LED is no match for Xenon of C905 . Try to use it at a show room and see for yourself.

Also the link that you have given it seems exposure is set on the higher side in Nokia.
Considering the c905 as a good replacement for my k810i. Have been reading up on these reviews, and one place (GSMArena ?) said the ISO on the c905 is set to 200, while the others typically shoot at 400 & can even auto-push it up to 1600. Possibly the reason for the 'higher exposure' of the pics ?
The xenon flash on the c905 looked the best of the 4 models compared on GSMArena.

Personally, have been with SE over Nokia for a few years now, and am inclined to continue this. The feedback on this phone has been good. At 15k, the C905 looks worth the money. Any inputs, anyone ?

@Arjun : do you really need a 12MP ? Check out the Nokia n86 - it's 8MP, but looks nice. Even has a covered lens. I am not looking at the N86 since I am more comfortable with the SE's.

Wimwian : Guys, which is the best sub-10K phone in the market currently? Please suggest both Nokia and Non-nokia phones. Thanks
Did you check out the Nokia 5530 ? I dont know if it is the best, but it looked good.

Thanks Punzabi

I was confused between an E63 & 5230 & finally I bought the E63 yesterday. Got a good deal as I got a fee BT headset + Reebok T-Shirt(both in Box offers) + Free Screen protector(by shop guy). I exchanged my N72.

I guess it will take some time to get used to a QWERTY key pad

I paid 9100 minus the exchange value for the E63. Its already down a lot so I didnt bother besides The box offer that I got is no longer available so even at 1k-2k price fall I still got more bang for my buck

I have c905a that i have been using for 3-4 months. its a really good phone. its 8 mp camera is great. battery life is also very good. the only downside i felt is, the loudness of speaker is not too good, especially the alarm. its too low to wake up.

if you unbrick it, you will get wi-fi, full song mp3 as ringtone, full version of nfs pro street and much faster interface. the tutorial for unbricking is available online and its a piece of cake.

hope this helps. from my side. its a . you won't be disappointed.

personally i prefer this over nokia

I got Rs 1700 for my N72 & I bought it from Hot Spot(Retail chain from SPICE).

I dont even visit the Priority dealers because they always charge more than what others do.

But Nokia has no 12 mp phones in the pipeline is it ?
Among the 2 i.e Pixon and satio . Which would you rate it better ? For camera quality and usability.Definitely like the looks of satio better.

Nokia is about to announce their Nokia N87 codenamed:"Vasco".
It will have a 12.3-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar (4-piece) glass.
The camera will also have infrared night vision.

Initially there was even talk of an "optical zoom", but looks like that is reserved for a future product.

It will have a Xenon flash plus LED illumination for videos.
It will be capable of HD video recording.

It will have a 3.7” 480x800 AMOLED capacitive multitouch screen with gestures.

The CPU will be an ARM Cortex 8 CPU at 600 MHz, 256MB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB of internal memory.

Like the N86, it will also have an FM transmitter so that you can couple it with your car's FM radio.

Like the N82 it will have a separate dedicated GPU (graphics processing unit).

It will have a micro-SD Card Slot and HDMI port output supporting 1080p!
Can shoot HD video content at 720p straight from the phone.

It will be Nokia's first mobile to run open source Symbian^3.

Finally, the long awaited Xenon+GPU replacement to the hitherto unsurpassed legend -- the Nokia N82.

Oh wow that's so cool. Any indication upon the prices and the tentative launch dates ?
Is it the same one as in the picture. Because I find many designs with n87 on them when I google them up.

I have taken this plan during this month. Can confirm anything only after receiving the next bill.

My consideration was also same as yours, mainly for the google maps.
