5030 xpress radio is a very good basic phone.with this phone you dont have to even insert a headphone to switch on the radio.i found the keys to be very hard.otherwise no problem.i would suggese 2323 classic too which is a new arrival.5030 is priced at 2350 in bangalore & 2323 classic is priced at 2450.note 2323 also has bluetooth.

Hope this helps.
Are you experiencing long GPS locking times? I have to wait a long time before I get a lock.

@adithyav I get 1.5 days on very heavy usage, around 2 with moderate.

Very Urgent-
Need to gift a mobile to someone.
Budget 10k around and can be stretched to 12k.
Kindly suggest the good options.

I saw a LG KP500 yesterday for 9699.
Its a touchscreen phone and quiet light weight also. Was impressive but had always used Nokia so anyone with an LG experience or any info about this phone as well?

My sister just got a Cookie and I must say its a polished product from LG. Good battery, light body, good sensitive screen and feature packed to the gills.
its a pity they dont give a 3.5 mm adapter with it. I had to order mine from ebay hongkong. lets hope it reaches soon..

There's an LG Cookie sold about every five seconds somewhere in the world. LG are keen to point out other numbers the most important of which is that over 5 million units were sold in total for the 9 months the phone's been on sale.

I have one of the last and only a handful of EF82's made from Kemp Lintfort factory.

Also have a S65 which has been running for 5 years.
An M55 which has been running for 6 years.

And am planning to get a brand new EL71 soon.

Never before have I seen such durability and engineering in any other phones.
