yeah I am anti-nokia. Coz I am all for the underdogs.
Nokia never innovates It just accepts the technology that is already developed.
The only good thing they developed was symbian. Now they are monopolizing it and killing their only good act.
Nokia sucks.
the only good phones they have had are
3310,n-gage,7650,6600,communicator series and the 88-series. A hnadful in so many years
SE has already had p-series, t-series,k-sereis,s-series,walkman series which are successful.
motorola has the razr, e398, e80i, pininfarina phones, e365, v70, and many more.
look at motorola and Sonyericsson
motorola is the first company to adopt linux. I personally like it coz linux is free and an open end OS. A user gets a smartphone for much cheap than windows or symbian smartphones.
Ericsson is the first company to introduce bluetooth.
and recently nokia copied blackberry's mail client server system.
Jeez can't they invent something of their own???
but yeah, In India Honda and nokia go hand in hand. even though sonyericsson makes such good phones people want nokia. I dunno why:confused:
Hi guys i am currently using the moto Razr black and the nokia 9300.
Moto for the sleek and definately se** looks and the 9300 for more practical purposes as i have the blackberry connection on it.. so that is basically for emails only....

monopoilizing?
how about SE not allowing any 3rd party applications on phone without getting approved by SE?
i have tonnes of applications working seamlessly on my nokia.
oh no. you cant use a symbian device without nokia's license.
I had a symbian sx1 and the registry was owned by nokia.
Even p900 I had used the symbian registry signed by nokia.
The best smartphone I would say is the motorola A780 or e680i. linux powerhouses with free OS. programmers go gaga over it.
just bought my new reliance baby 6255 yesterday. its working good. Actually i bought this phone for bluetooth headset only otherwise i was happy with my reliance lg RD2130. my 6630 is also good phone.

man, close your eyes and go for SE K750i. clap: its wondefull phone and best phone your money can buy today. my brother owns this phone and i can tell you its sound is very VERY loud. When phone rings it gets everyones attention. Its camera is best (2MP) and overall phone has all features. its display is very crisp and phone is very light weight and compact in design (small). also, its SE phone so it will retain its value unlike nokia. My 6630 value dropped to Rs.13000 from rs.20000/- for 6630 in just 4 months.
im using a motorola V3 Razr. Quoting Harper Bazaar - " the damned thing is sexy as hell!". it's just the looks and the camera quality. thats it. battery life sucks, hardly any memory, no capability for an expandable sd card...the list goes on. of all the phones i have i think motorola's were the worse and my nokia's the best. my fav was a nokia 8850. now THATS what u call a phone...sleek, sexy, sliver, sliding cover, the 1st phone with a white backlight....oohh...oozed passion all the way! next on my list...
- the nokia 8800!!!!
hey guys i wonder if this is the right place to post my question. I am looking for a new phone. Budget around 20K. My three basic requirements are:
1. It should have a good camera (at least 2mp)
2. I should be able to transfer mp3 files to and from it easily and should be able to listen to them as well.
3. I should be able to make n receive calls with it :p
Other than the above, it would be nice if its a flip top or swivel, is tri band, has bluetooth, comes with tons of accessories like phone case, headphones etc etc, has voice dialling. In short, over n above the top 3 requirements, as many features as possible.
I am eyeing SE w800 or 900 or Moto Raxor V3.
If i stretch my budget to where i can consider nokia n90 or 91, then what other phones should i look at?
Wot says experts?
Cheers

amitoj pick up the SE P900 or the 910i..if ur not happy with it u can gift it to me ;) ..
@ amitoj
get P910i :D if you want big display and functions and extra s/w support. The cam quality is damn poor though.
K750i too is good buy. Damn nice cam!
Nokia 7700 is bulky and has a slower processor than P910i.
Since you want 2M cam its SE 750i. The menu is gr8 and so is teh function. Supports MS Duo Pro cards and even comes with one. Its sleek. Did I say teh cam is gr8? :D
and aint your Bday today?
hehe... mclaren, arent those smartphones? Man i dont want a phone thats smarter than me!
Yeah jk, the k750i does look very tempting. It has flash too, right? Is that the only differece (cosmetic changes aside) between the 750i and w800?
And wot about moto razor v3?
Dang buying a cellphone is almost as confusing as buying a car....
I think they should he having teh same firmware. W800 comes with 512 MB card and has those extra buttons for mp3 player use.
Both haev damn gr8 flash !
V3 is slim. The cams ok (640*480 i guess). less function and no memory support. I think its just 14k.
Did you check Samsung D600? :D

if you are not into branding then forget the walkman phone and get the d750i.
with the saved money get yourself a good memory stick.:)
Otherwise I would suggest you stay away from mobile cameras. They still have a long way to go before they are good enough
p910 will be a good buy. but if you are a basic user stick to d750i.
