Used E65 advice ?

Have a used Nokia E65 from a colleague on offer. Decent shape apart from a couple of scratches, and data cable lost.
(I have an N70, so have the the data cable but have never used it! Bluetooth suffices, mostly). Main draw : WiFi, nice looks.
Its a year old.
Qn: what price should one pay for this ? New one's around 12.8k otr.

8k should be fine. Going by this logic:-

My current phone price in market is 9K and exchange offer being offered is 5-6K. Phone in question is SEW810i

Dont even go near, International Listed price for unlocked set is only 32k. So just hang for couple of more weeks and take it home for much lesser, tied to a plan by indian operator.

The rumours say that the upcoming new iphone version two will have 3G HSDPA and GPS built, besides the amazing touch interface, brilliant MAC OS and speed that is still untouchable. No one will have answer to the iphone if this is true and I am gonna buy it as soon as it is launched in the market.

I have a LG KE 850 PARADA touch screen phone, original with bill and warranty bought from dubai.

It's screen is broken, I have tried LG customer car center and places like Alpha but in ruin.

Neither can I get the phone working nor can I get the contacts out (which is more important at this point of time as I have already got a new phone blackberry pearl).

Anyone who knows where can i find a screen for my phone or how to get the contacts out.

thanks

I guess both Vodafone and Airtel are planning to bring the iPhone to India. Any idea when it might be launched et al ?

Dual Sim/CDMA + GSM mobile phone question

Hi all,

Have a question for users of dual sim/dual tech phones (GSM+CDMA).

Questions are as follows.

1) When you connect the phone to the internet, which connection is activated for internet ? GSM or CDMA or both ?

2) When you connect to the internet what speeds do you get and which provider provides you the best speeds (browsing and internet).

3) What battery life do your dual sim or dual technology phones have if you use them to browse the internet (connected to the laptop or pc)?

Any advice would help as am planning to use a similar connection for going on trips when out of office or out of home.

Cheers
M M M
