N95 is a FP1 (Feature pack 1) device. Firmware updates dont update you to FP2 status. For that nokia will make you buy a new phone

Not doable for older devices. As AZA said Nokia wants you to but a new device to enjoy FP2.

Improvements in FP2 (not all of them, just the ones I remember off the top of my head)

- Standby screen icons/apps can be arranged vertically
- Center button command gets added (no addition of functionality, just an indicator of what the center button does already, duh!)
- Full Screen caller ID (goooooood!)
- Improved contacts app, with more details that can be assigned to a contact
- Timed Profiles (a la Series 40)
- Some improvements in the Email client (better attachment support. Not sure if HTML email is going to be supported out of the box yet)
- Improvement in gallery display and categorization of items in gallery. Tags can be added to photos so they can be organized better
- USB 2.0 speeds for data transfer over cable (not too sure about this)
- "G" standard support for WiFi
- Various visual tweaks in the menus and newer menu arrangement options
- lots of other stuff that I can't remember

The E61i is an excellent phone. My Dad uses one. Not sure of current prices, but I guess it should be about 15.5 to 16K. Does nearly everything the E90 can do, but with a slower (than E90) processor and a 320x240px screen. The screen is so big, the resolution is not enough to make it look really good. It maxes out at 2GB storage (does not take MicroSD-HC). If there's anything specific you want to know about the E61i, I can try and help. BTW, it is built like a tank

If you're planning to buy one, you should know that a newer version is expected in the next quarter with a better keyboard, integrated GPS, slightly better screen resolution (but smaller screen, and square, as in 320x320px) camera and various other improvements. What is the difference between MicroSD and MicroSD-HC ? I am planning to get one because i am getting good deal. ( 10k for 10 day used phone )

I might change the phone before newer version comes.

HC is added to mean that the memory card is high-capacity. Such cards go upto 32gb at present.

That, I second. I've been using it for 6 months and dropped it some 20-30 times - some of them courtesy my son. Love the stainless steel back cover.

Other than 2-3 small scratches and the plastic cover around the camera getting sliiiiightly loose, it works like a charm.

I don't use phones for music, videos, photos much. I do surf and chat quite a lot. Phone calls are a breeze. The speakerphone is very good. The contacts organiser is easy to use. Battery life is pretty decent. Which is, I guess, how it should be, since it is primarily a business phone and not a multimedia device.

It means E61i supports upto 2 Gb.
