any idea about how many contacts can P1i hold without losing out on speed ??
This is a major issue for deciding the phone for my cousin as he is havin some 3000 odd contacts needed to be stored. ( yeah it is 3000 ). The contact files in toto major upto 40MB when synchronised with the PC..
???
I have played around with a P1. It had a long list too (maybe around 600-700). The OS was pretty smooth. I dont really think it should affect speed except during startup.

Wanted to buy a 6300. Heard that battery is not that good. Instead I bought a SGH-E840. Its got a very good display and is pretty fast too. The feather touch keys needed a little getting used to though.

guys - my nokia 6630's battery is really in its last stages. I have never had one set for this long (2.5 yrs) so never had experience with replacing batteries. How much does a new one cost?

is this the metal edition phone.(slider).a friend just bought one last month and after the initial 3 days, has been in the samsung repair centre since then.the slider has stopped working, the keys have got completely depressed and hence the buttons keep on getting activated and something or other keeps happening.
sorry for spoiling the experience, but please be on a lookout for any problems and report them to the the service centre asap.

What does Bluetooth™ stereo (A2DP) in Sony Ericsson phones mean ?

I am confused between the W 700i, W580i, and W610i. Any suggestions ?

The first one only has bluetooth while the others have Bluetooth™ stereo (A2DP). What does it imply ?

A2DP = Advanced Audio Distribution Profile

This basically means you can listen to STEREO music over bluetooth provided you have a Bluetooth headset supporting this profile.

LCD screen of my Nokia 3230 is scratched when I kept my watch besides it in car. Any inputs on how this can be corrected/repaired if possible?

Use a screen protector.

1. It will protect your screen from more scratches.
2. It will hide many small scratches on the screen.

before application, do clean the screen with a damp cloth.

I usually use a particualar kind of gum tape on my phone screens. replace it every month.
