Its 18,250 Rs with bill and warranty in delhi.... I bought it today!
Its a great phone and apart from ringtone speaker volume being low and absence of EDGE, its a great great phone and gives you everything you would ever want in a mobile phone.

P.S Price without bill is around 14k's

The "Nokia 3110 Classic" is quite good. It has large keypad and the font used for on-screen display is also quite big. My mom who is 55 has no complaints with it. Moreover it comes with IR, Bluetooth, 1.3 mp camera, FM radio and Music player.

Thinking of buying the Nokia 8800 Sirocco gold.
Anyone's done any research on this? I'm not a big user of the optionsfeatures, just use as a cell phone, so am not looking at the E90, kind of features.

A friend uses the 8800 (the "regular" one with stainless steel body). I've never handled a better-built phone. It feels like it is hewn from a single hunk of steel. And it looks a whole lot more imposing in person than in pictures.

He's been using it for the past 8 months at least, and it has acquired no scratches or dings (he doesn't exactly abuse the phone, but then he isn't too careful with it either). The glass of the display is scratch-proof.

Features-wise don't expect anything. It runs same the plain-vanilla Series 40 software that non-Symbian Nokia phones run. So it is as good as the regular Nokia phones, and no more.

This phone is more about the bling-factor than anything else. The Scirocco is a little extra bling, with the gold finish and all. But nobody is going to miss that phone in your hand. I personally prefer the stainless-steel of the regular 8800 or the liquid-chrome-black of the other version (I forget the name).

They are offering it with 2 batteries, a desk top charger and matching blue tooth. All to induce stupid people like me for a change at a fancy price, with a 24 month extended warrantie.
Just told the Nokia dealer to send me one , too impatient, you know me by now!

The regular 8800 had poor battery problem (I used to own one). The Scirocco has a more powerful battery and is much more bare able than non Scirocco 8800
