LG Scarlet remote

Hi,

I have just bought a new LG Scarlet 42" TV and have been smitten by it except for one niggling problem. I can't seem to configure Tata Sky controls on my LG remote's STB button.

General googling brought back some results but none have solved my problem yet.

What I can understand is, I need the IR receiver code for Tata Sky and punch it in some way into LG remote for the setup to work

Problems?
1. I don't know exact Tata Sky remote IR code (different ppl on net have different codes)
2. The correct procedure to input the code.

If anyone here has managed to successfully configure the two devices to LG remote, please help!!!

No information about it but will closely watch this thread.

You can contact Tata Sky helpline to get the IR Code.
I think they will give it to you if you tell what you want to do exactly.

what make is TATA sky stb? I am sure TATA don't make it themselves. They just order in bulk from some chinese or korean manufacturer.

like dish tv stb is made by kaon or zenega!

I think tata sky and dish tv use the same set top box. I am watching this closely please post the ir code once you find it.

Humax (india) makes STBs for Tata Sky, atleast in my case. Humax being a mass manufacturer of different STBs and PVR systems, it is quite difficult to obtain the right code for sets sold as Tata Sky in India.

The customer care is a joke and they are seldom of any help so a call to CC for obtaining IR code was unsuccessful to put it bluntly.

i think some are made by thomson and some by huawei.

try googling for the ir receiver codes for these brands and see which brand your set top box is.
