VGA to RCA cable

A friend of mine is looking to connect his laptop (does not have S Video port) to TV (non LCD). The only option we have is a VGA to RCA cable.

I checked online shopping sites but could not find any such cable. Where and at what cost can I get one?

Not sure if this would work, but you could check it out.

TECHCOM External TV Tuner Box Computer & Peripherals > Computer Components

Connect the laptop to this box using the supplied cable.

Take the video out RCA from the box to the TV
Take the audio out directly from the laptop to the TV. If the laptop has a 3.5mm single socket stereo output, you would need a 3.5mm to 2 RCA audio cable.

There will no direct cable..you will be needing a vga to composite converter for the same.

HDMI also carries audio. HDMI ofcourse will have HD output. Its not compatable on a Standard definition CRT TV.
