Worldtech Video Problem

Hi,

I own a Worldtech Reverse Camera Camera + Sensor but am unsure on what video format works if I want to play with USB Pen drive? I have tried a couple of MP4 formats etc. but maybe the codec used is not the compatible one, so they do not play. Anyone can help?

In addition I would also like to know whether any specific software is needed to convert any video into that format? Eg: I have Total Video Converter and I also have Replay Converter installed on my comp.

Is there any guide available for the same?

Thanks,

Vikram

Re: Worldtech Video Problem

It should be able to play the mp4 files from USB or SD card. However, most of these units have a sub-par processors & memory so can only play the lower profile mp4 files, the very reason why you're not able to play your existing files. You can use DVD-fab to convert your files, the profiles may be a zune or iphone or a similar mobile device.

Re: Worldtech Video Problem

Thank you very much for the reply. Let me try it out. In the meanwhile if anyone else owns this device or has any first hand experience, I would love to know what exactly works..

Thanks again!

Re: Audio / Video Codecs, Converters & Decoders

Not sure if this is exactly a codec question.

I want to use my laptop as output device for playing audio files.
1. I cannot install any additional software on the laptop
2. I cannot use USB drives on the laptop
3. Laptop has Windows media player, and runs Win 7

Hence I am trying to play the tracks on a portable media player & connect the output of the mp3 player into the mic port of the laptop, using a 3.5mm connector cable.

but WMP doesnt sing .. what gives ?

The Mic in would take the input from a microphone only. You need to give the input to the line in of the laptop. This is something I recollect doing while converting old cassettes to audio files.

Edit: please look at this link as well.
