The Series 3 is working out to be ~25K on Flipkart right now on sale.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Somewhat off topic. Steve Jobs's died on 5 October 2011. So maybe a small tribute is called for.

A pioneer in every way, gave os the Apple Mac, and the iPhone. He took the art to a new plane in both cases. THANK YOU STEVE.

Anybody faced this in recent experiences? Or maybe it's a first world problem? P.s. This "scoop" is by CBC News Canada

They don’t do component level repairs at store or at their central repairs facility so the original estimate will cover the costs of the parts that can go wrong but they will charge only for the actual parts replaced.

This laptop fault does appears to be staged, they must have bent the pin intentionally and gave sort of humidified air to bring those red marks that glow when the surface comes in contact with water. None of the screens that are available in the market matches the quality of original. If Apple really cares about its customers as they say, they should instead Drop the replacement and repair charges.

Re: The iPhone Thread

It’s official - the Apple Watch Series 4 is launching in India on October 19. Apple’s updated its India website, too. However, I’m not sure if the Nike+ version is also going to be available on launch day, and I’m curious because all things considered, its better value than the Plain Jane aluminium series 4 version, what with the additional watch faces and Nike club app access at no extra cost.

The pricing is available on the Imagine website. Here’s a screenshot of the pricing for various models. Still, not sure whether all models will be available to buy on launch day. Check it out at https://www.imagineonline.store/prod...-14167763.aspx
As you can see, a same version has two different prices, and I suspect this is due to the different types of watch bands offered.

Re: The iPhone Thread

I had been using the iPhone 6 since a while and now that the X 64 GB was retailing for Rs. 69,999/- on Amazon, bought it. The X definitely feels on another level compared to the 6 which had become quite slow off late.

The transition from 6 to X was super smooth and I'm really enjoying the new phone. Great speed, lovely display and excellent camera. Initially I was planning to pick up the XR but the X has a better display.

The Nike+ version is definitely a better option, since the watching faces look really good. But the regular sport band looks better than the Nike sport band, atleast the black/anthracite color. I bought the Nike+ 44mm recently, but intend on swapping the band soon. They unfortunately don't bundle the black/volt band with the watch, and sell it separately instead.
Coming to the different prices part, the higher priced models are for the steel and sapphire glass apple watch, with slight price variations for the different straps bundled.

On another note, the Indian pricing is insane! I paid 649 AUD for my 44mm GPS, which converts to INR34000. The same version costs almost 10k higher

Guys, any insider info on cashbacks for the IPhone XR? Just 10 days away from the launch, not sure if Apple wants to create some buzz with the XR considering that the XS and XS Max were largely irrelevant for India, due to their high sticker price.

I wish Citibank and Apple come up with some aggressive schemes for the XR.

Thanks for reminding, truly a pioneer and maestro in innovation. His out of the box thinking and the urge for perfection had triggered a new wave of smartphone innovation, the benefits of which we are still reaping

I am waiting from yesterday for the above price to be listed again, but unfortunately it is still at 74999. Since today is the last day of sale, any possibilities of the offer to regain visibility

Re: The iPhone Thread

Finally took the plunge and ordered the X yesterday. Net amount after exchange and instant discount is around 64K. Cashback is 6K which would be credited on Jan 15th, 2019. So net on net the final cost is 58K.

Expected delivery is tomorrow through a secure package, which would be handed over upon revealing the OTP. Fingers crossed.

Has anyone bought the new XS or XS Max and tried the E-Sim? Airtel and Jio are supposed to be the only operators with e-sim capability?
