I find the iOS 9 useful too especially the notes app, addition of sharing options,Siri suggestions (nothing but recently used in android) and switching back to the app we left from without going to home screen. These are the features I find quite useful with 9.
OT: guys, did you check out the performance of the new a9 chipset? The humble dual core puts all other octacores to shame.

True. iOS 9 manages the battery so much better than iOS 8 and that's reason enough.! I'm really liking the fact that the device lasts for more than a day. And my phone spends its energy trying to get hold of the signal, as my work desk has very poor network coverage

How I wish I could show you the photograph of my friend's iPhone 6 and my Nexus 5 side by side. [There was no other device in vicinity to take pics]. The iPhone 6's size/dimension/screen is the same as my Nexus 5.

I think I read that 6 is 4.7" and Nexus 5 is 5" but we both were equally surprised to note them being same. In-fact, he too is exchanging his 6 for a 5S and I too hope to in the near future.

These are the prices in Australia. The USD and INR prices are just for comparison using XE Convertor:

Model GB AUD USD INR
6S 16 1079 764 49824
64 1229 871 56751
128 1379 977 63677
6S+ 16 1229 871 56751
64 1379 977 63677
128 1529 1083 70613

Is it worth picking up?

Im hoping that the prices mentioned are after taxes. If it is, the difference in terms of USD, between USA and Australia is barely 30-40 USD, or approx 2k rupees. Indian prices will be atleast 8k rupees more than what is mentioned

Prices in AUD are from the Dick Smith website. Appears to be incluse of taxes because if you add the item to your cart and go to checkout the price remains the same.
For the INR & USD prices, I just converted the AUD price using the XE Convertor.

Yes I did. The phone has become a little sluggish post the update. Well that's been the case with 4s with every update. But with 9.x I feel it's even slower to respond. It takes a split of a second slower to respond. This happens when I scroll a page too. My Facebook app freezes more often since the update

On the bright side I feel my battery life has increased. Have not timed it though

I get a feeling these updates are apples way of proving to us that we have old phone and if the sluggishness frustrated you then spend ~50k and buy a new one
Why not buy a gearless scooter for that money

Are you seeing any difference? The over heating has gone away since upgrading to 9.0.2.
