Thanks for your help.

Same problem for me too.. upgraded to iOS 8 lost that feature or am I missing it some where...? Its in vodafone n/w

Just realised a big blunder by Apple.
We cant send old photos by whatsapp or any similar third party app bcos they have replaced the camera roll with recently added album which only has last 30days pics.

They need to give the camera roll back with an update asap!! Utter nonsense!!

I'm not sure if I understood your point clearly so let me apologies first if I haven't.
I can find all pictures of recent years under photos tab and I can forward them as well.

Cheers!

The camera roll is no longer there, it's replaced with recently added. However all the photos can be found under collections. Im sure after whatsapp extensions update we can share pics from collections as well.

Create a new folder under albums and move photos that you want to share with whatsapp! From here, we can share photos.

Yes I know they are under Photos tab, but that tab doesn't show if you want to access through Whatspp. When you say fwd them, how? And even if you can, that is inconvenient, isn't it?

That is a tedious and ongoing task.

I have been on iOS8 since last few weeks on iPhone 5. Phone hasn't slowed down that i am noticing, apps are just working fine also. The 3G kill switch has gone so emergency power management will become difficult (this is in airtel network and might be different in other networks).

Only advice, download the file on comp, do a back up and then restore the phone. You can resync everything back after this. Though time consuming, this will help clean up the junk and get you about 1 GB of free space also.

Updated to iOS 8 on my iPad2. Now I am seeing"No Service" where it should be"....Cellone 3G ". I have BSNL 3G prepaid Sim.It was working fine with earler version of iOS. Checked the Cellular NW settings.
APN : bsnlnet

Can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks

Go to "Settings-> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings"
Device will restart and reset to the network without loss of any data. See if it connects back to the network after that.

I am trying to Reset but nothing is happening.I mean device is not restarting after clicking Reset Settings button
Just a dialog box-"Are you sure..etc"

Try restoring the device once again with the OS, dont forget to take a full back up before this.

iOS8 seems to be lil buggy even now, wifes iPad air restarts programs. Happens occasionally with my iPhone 5 also.

Just asking to confirm, but you did press Yes/Continue to the prompt, right? Does it still not restart?

Else, try the reset by pressing both the home as well as the on/off button together for 4-5 seconds, and the Apple symbol comes up.

Yes I clicked Yes.
Now I restarted the device by pressing Home and On/Off button.
And after restart, the issue is resolved. Cellone 3G service is connected.
Thanks to you and Jaggu for the help.

That's good to know. The Reset Network settings option too should have worked. All's good that ends well. :)

Benny (or anyone who has the knowledge), can you please share the steps how to backup an existing iOS so that if one is not happy with the new iOS, one can - without problems - revert to the old iOS.

this will immensely help people, like me, who moved to the new iOS and got screwed because they didn't like it and couldn't go back (happened to me when i installed iOS 7 on iPhone 4 :Frustrati)

ps: did ya guys know iOS 8 requires more than 5GB space (5.7GB to be accurate)? :D

Yes if you do a OTA update. Space-making can be avoided if you update via itunes (provided iphone is sync-ed I guess).
