Happens to my machine a lot more often.

Its the connection of the cable, try shaking the cable and it should work.

Is the cable worn out at both ends ?

In my case too, it starts charging immediately when plugged in the electric socket, however when done using USB cable (with laptop) it doesnt picks up that easily.

Thanks, I'll try it out. Although, I don't have any issues with the GPS after upgrading the BB to 6.15! I read it on some blog somewhere that the GPS problem is random. In that case, I am I consider myself lucky

Yes, I do have blobs for 3.1.3 all the way to 4.1. Guess the best FW that worked perfectly for the 3G was the 3.1.3.

Why jail break the iphone when its is avaialble unlock version in Canada . This is now available for around 600US$ and its worth buying it from Canada . For this u need to have a friend , relative in the East coast of US .......

Jailbreaking is not the same as unlocking.

iPhone is the cheapest in Hong Kong, not Canada.

Need help bhpians..I am facing wi-fi and battery drain issues on my jb n unlocked 3g running on version 3.1.2 n 05.11.07 baseband..can anyone of you help me sort out these problems..thanx

Guys, my iphone screen just went white, it has grey lines on it though. I didn't drop it. Was working fine about an hour back. Tried the reset/reboot and the restore. Googled, and it's called white screen of death, but none of the solutions work!

Hi Gautam,

white screen at times comes due to loose wiring inside...a repairman can tighten the flex cable inside and it should be fine,

However before doing all this, drain the battery completely and do this on switch off mode

What kind of issues with Wifi?
I have same configuration,but on a 3GS.
No such issues here.

When i try to select Wi-Fi i cant select it..My Wi-Fi is greyed out..It says No Wi-Fi and i cant select it to switch my Wi-Fi on,even my battery lasts for half a day at the most..M facing these issues since i have JB and Unlocked it.I wasnt facing these problems earlier i.e before i Jb and Unlocked it..

I assume your is a factory unlocked phone, why dont you restore it back to oe os?

Guys, I got my iPhone 4 - AT&T locked with F/W: 4.2.1 and BB: 03.10.01. Browsed for hours, even went to Ghaffar market (Delhi) for the unlock but to no avail.

Any hopes? :/

Guys I have an iPhone4 which is on ios4. I could not use the alarm function on the 1st and 2nd Jan. It's working today. Did any of you face the problem? Will it recur?

I did this for my friend. Upgrade iPhone 4 to iOS 4.2.1 without upgrading your baseband so that you can unlock using Ultrasn0w. Please note that this method works only for iPhone 4.
