All iPhones have had international warranty since the past several years. I can confirm this as I have availed warranty for an iPhone bought in India in Germany and the other way round too. No issues there.

I do understand the physical sim convenience. But, you could perhaps keep a secondary phone which offers 4G and hotspot. Something from Nokia perhaps. The overall savings should still make it worth it

Has anybody facing ESIM issue with AirTel for iphone 14 Pro Max ( US Model) ? I have been trying to activate using QR code but couldn't succeed. I have escalated this issue with both Airtel as well as Apple. AirTel says please contact Apple for SIM Lock restrictions but where as this is phone is compatible for all eSIM network providers globally.

I have been using eSIM for iPhone XS, 11, 12 mini and 13 model which I have purchased in India.




Please note that iPhone 14 pro Max (A2651) doesn't have physical SIM Tray and we must use eSIM for Voice and Data.

I am already using an Esim in iPhone and they confirmed we can use both Sims as Esim. No idea about other providers.

Gentlemen,

I am facing a very peculiar issue with my iPhone11. The day, the iphone 14 was launched, something went off in my phone.

This is regarding notifications. I am not getting notifications from quite a few apps like Slack, Line, MyGate etc. Earlier even whatsapp message notifications were getting delayed. Not getting whatsapp call notifications at all.

I upgraded to ios16, upgraded all apps. Things improved a bit with whatsapp message notifications. Discord was working.

Today, I reset my phone and no improvements. Rather whatsapp notifications have again become inconsistent. I have checked notifications in the settings. I don't have any Focus mode on. Not sure what the issue. My bhaiya is also facing a similar issue.

Any pointers??

It arrived this morning!

Spent some time setting it up. It was mostly seamless transitioning from my old phone to the new one, but my Watch Series 6 did not successfully pair, and I had to reset it and do a new pairing with my phone. I also lost 1-2 hours worth of WhatsApp messages while switching over but nothing that I will miss. Very happy with the new phone and will see how it performs in comparison. I'm mind blown with it so far

This might explain it. Seems Apple knows about the issue. Try updating to the latest version if this fixes it for you.

Thank you so much!! Updating it right away!!

The problem seemed to have improved. I have a weird theory. It seems that applications you use frequently like whatsapp, the notifications have started working. But apps that you don't frequently check (Multiple times in a day), notifications were still iffy.

I started opening some of my used apps like Mygate, Amazon, Slack, Insta etc more frequently. It seems that it has solved the issue for the most part.

Will post after this update if things improve any further!!

One issue I am facing with the call list on my iPhone 13 post updating it to iOS 16.0.2.

Earlier, if I deleted call list (few nos) the earlier dialed / received / missed numbers used to pop-up, this does not happen any more now. Even if I leave the list with just 5 dialed / received calls, the older ones do not come through.

Hi Jaguu, i will see only one prompt (flash message) ESIM could not be activated please contact customer support. I would have used at least 5 QR Codes while activating the same. Finally it got activated yesterday after spending two hours.

In fact ESIM was activated in iphone 13 and apple watch with in few minutes but iphone 14 pro max took more than two hours !!

I too got the same message after scanning the QR code. Spoke to Airtel customer service and they said to disregard the message and wait for a couple of hours. Due to network challenges the activation gets processed in a queue system. After about 2 hours it did get activated. This is on iPhone 13
