Aseem might source it for 15K. But then (in Navin's words) that is a story for another thread.

Sorry about that guys, we are the infamous derailers.

After that short non commercial break, it's now back to "what camera you have" on the Team BHP channel.

Mine

is a Panasonic DMC-Fz5 which i bought here in tokyo.

Did a lot of search and resaerch and got this camera cost me more cos i wanted an internation warranty.. i paid arnd 600USD inclusive of the pouch+ 512 mem card.

The camera is light and is gud for capturing still images and the camera operation is quite simple and user friendly.

Here is the site and it is an useful site if you wanna chk out other cameras aswell.

I am a diehard Pentax Fan. Can't part my older Takumar lenses from film era for a digital body nor I have the funds. So, my choice was simple, Pentas *ist DS (anyone have a better name for a camera !) plus 2x 1 GB Sd cards.

I can still use my lenses across my film and digital body. No digital lenses yet due to lack of funds!

I am happy bunny!!

Wowee! I ordered the same camera but the online retailer bungled it(in US) so i did not buy it then. Where did you buy it from, and how much!?

hi Rudra, you photo says it all.... Owning a 1D is a dream for me. Currently I own a 300D, 18-55mm kit lens, a 50mm f1.8 prime and a 55-200mm telephoto and a tripod.Planning to add a few more lens and a decent flash.

With your kind of range of lenses, I would have gone for a flash only.

ya, my first priority is getting a decent flash (canon flash 430-EX), apart from it I am looking at 17-40mm Canon L glass. Its all too expensive for me, but its on my wish list. Apart from that I am planning to buy 'LEARNING TO SEE CREATIVELY' by Bryan Peterson. By the way are you aware of any place in bangalore where i can get this book.

Check out Strand Book Store at Manipal Center. Gangaram Book Store at MG Road. And of course Landmark in your own city.
