Go to the SCN mode, there you can click left or right on the wheel to see different specialty settings, such as fireworks, underwater, etc. One of your options is color accent. To pick which color to accent, click display. Then focus the little square in the middle of the screen on the color you want and click the left button. You can also change the tolerance by clicking up or down. Also try color swap, it's in SCN and is quite fun.
Lovely pic faithless_1984.

In Canon Ixus this feature is located in manual mode only.

So switch to manual mode and then access color accent and color swap by pressing OK.

Re: The Digital Camera Thread: Questions, discussions, etc.

I believe this feature is not available in FZ100. I quickly checked the user manual, the scene mode does not have this feature. Also searched for Accent, Swap but no matching results.

For the benefit for all FZ100 users: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPER...CFZ100-ADV.PDF

Sad that it doesn't have Color Accent/Swap built-in, but PS is always there to rescue me in if required

Re: The Digital Camera Thread: Questions, discussions, etc.

I can't understand the ever-increasing number of "effects" built in to cameras. Why would anyone do this stuff on a camera? Almost 100% of digital photos are going to be uploaded to a computer: that, with a decent-size display, for a start, is the place for processing and effects.

Rotate the dial to SCN mode.

You will come across Color accent and Color swap settings.
Play around with those .. and make other brand cam owners jealous

@ TEG: most ppl are not interested in sitting at PC and doctoring pictures to make them look good.

If it didn't happen at the moment of taking the snap - it won't happen later.

Fair enough. It's like web browsing on a tiny cell-phone screen: seems more trouble than it is worth!

Re: The Digital Camera Thread: Questions, discussions, etc.

Guys, a coupla pics I took with the FZ100 in my recent trip. Still getting to know the controls, but it does look promising. I did a FW update earlier today and will keep you posted if it makes any impact.
What I love: light weight and real quick in focusing under well lit conditions, Macro is fabulous, the MF works fairly well, the zoom lens is super quick and silent
An irritant: Many a times focusing fails (especially seen in morning fog), need to switch to MF then. I found some pics taken at the beach a little too bright (over saturated?), the iA mode in low light is very, very noisy! (the cam at times selects ISO6400)
