DO NOT buy that G10 when this year's V20 42" is available for about 2-3 k more. MUCH better tv than last year by a large margin.

G10 has been reported for its black level issues.
So dont buy that.

Instead look for LG,samsung and panny 2010 models.
If you are not getting a v20 check for lg and samsung as they are also very good.

Will get the delivery tomorrow (10 Aug 10).

When I compared it with LG 40 LH60YR I found the image quality comparable, maybe better also.

Will submit a detailed report for everyone later.
40C530 delivered yesterday.

First impression - Awesome.

Will submit a detailed report soon.

Hey All,
Got my Samsung LA32C450E last week from Singapore. I am really happy with its performance (with the current SD Airtel DTH), but am now craving to see the HD stuff on it.
Can anyone please let me know, if switching to the Airtel HD box is going to make any difference in the picture quality of the SD channels as well?
Also, let me know the best ways to connect my lappy to it (my Lappy doesn't have a HDMI port).
And yeah, I got the same at 504 SGD (539SGD - 35 SGD as GST claim) Good deal?

Guys, saw a Toshiba LCD television 32" at E-Zone for the Independence day weekend for 20k. And full HD. Any ideas on the model and if it is a good buy?

Please note as of now, Airtel has got only one HD Channel i.e National Geographic Channel. However watching HD channel on a Full HD T/v will
be excellent!!!!

HyperCity at Whitefield

Hypercity at Whitefield, Bangalore also having many amazing deals for LED and LCD. Their prices are way cheaper than prices at other stores. Pai, Adiswaras, Viveks are craps as always, they deal on MRP and on that they give 10% discount. Which is still much costlier than HyperCity prices.

Infact, I found Hypercity is selling cheaper than company offered discount to its employees. One Microwave which at company discount (only for its employees) priced at 11,7XX.00 Rupees, same model HyperCity is giving at 11,5XX.00 Rupees. MRP is somewhere around 13,9XX.00 Rupees.

Those who wants to buy LED, LCD in near future can check at HyperCity. This is my observation on many of the home appliances products.

Yeah, that I am aware of.
What I wanna know is the way Airtel HD is connected to LCD. Is it via HDMI? If so, is the picture quality not going to be a bit better than the connection over the Composite Connection?

Yes, Airtel provides a HDMI cable with the HD STB. I have not tried connecting it with Composite cables, so I do not know if there is a difference in PQ.

The 5 series from Philips does not have good reviews. Look for 7 series or better still 9 series.
