BSNL Broadband sucks!

My broadband is down for the past two weeks, have logged the complaint almost daily since then, but no resolution so far!
Anyone has contact nos of BSNL higher-ups in B'lore?

Anyway, I have now applied for Airtel BB, once I get it, it will be bye-bye Bsnl!

Finneyp- Try to book a online complaint at this site http://218.248.42.50:8282/appl/compl/compl.do

I use this when ever I have an issue with BSNL phone/ BB & the response is quite prompt within 24 hrs. Try out

Guys,
Any idea how to monitor the usage on BSNL broadband.
I have been getting unusually high bills for the last couple of months, thought i don't download music or movies.

I have a 500C+ plan which has a 2.5 GB download limit.

Lucky you, I have tried updating the software as per latest available on ITI portal, changed mode from ADSL2+ to G.Dmt ... disabled all Annex L, M stuff etc as suggested by someone on Indiabroadband forum but no luck

Refer to AnkitS reply & download the exe , give your BB username & password it will show your usage. I am using it since last 6-8 months.

I wonder why I've not received my bsnl phone cum broadband bill so far---I get it every month by the 10th. Even their website is not showing the bill.

i will not prefer evdo.

do the following.

1. program the adsl modem as PPPoE always on.
2. Check the splitter. if possible replace it with another one.
3. If you can lend any frens modem. try with that,

I was keeping an eye out for upgradation in BSNL plans. I normally use speedtest.net to check my speeds. Occasionally, I use a BSNL link to check the speeds.

See the result I got today.

this test has many factors, i am quite happy with bsnl. some times speed is exceptionally fast.
i usually download 4gb of data in about 5-6 hours.

At least I suppose it is, given that it is showing 340 Mbps in a connection capped at 256 kbps.

My BSNL connection is just great, the only thing i hate about the BSNL is the lack of effective custmoer support

In more than two years of BSNL broadband usage, there has hardly been any breakdowns and never actually needed customer support.
