Re: List your digital / online subscriptions here!

Here's what I subscribe to:
1. Apple Music (Individual Plan)
2. Google Drive (100 GB Plan)
3. Netflix
4. Amazon Prime
5. Hotstar
6. the-ken (Quarterly, as of now)
7. Magzter Gold (Family Plan)
8. Evernote

Contemplating adding Grammarly premium to this list, but as of now the free version of Grammarly works just fine for me.

Seems like you are experimenting a lot on VPN. I generally use ToR. Can you suggest a good VPN for personal use.

Has to be ExpressVPN without a doubt when you're based in India or other countries. Used or tried over a dozen to narrow down to just this provider.

TOR has too much network latency, this is ok for certain scenarios but not all.

PS - I am not experimenting with those VPNs. I actually use them. ExpressVPN is my favourite.

Re: List your digital / online subscriptions here!

Prime. Free shipping is just a bonus. Tried Netflix demo but the collection is poor. Hotstar is not for me. I'd rather rent a movie on iTunes.

Skillshare. IMO Udemy is Facebook and Skillshare is Twitter. Quick, to the point, short clips with more meat per minute.

Grammarly. Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion. It's especially useful for me coz I'm in the 'writing' profession. Full price seems high so I wait for a good 40-50% discount offer.

My list:

- Google Drive (1 TB plan)
- Spotify (Family plan)
- NYTimes.com (absolutely love their content quality)
- the-ken.com
- E2E Networks - for the bad boy servers running Team-BHP
- MailChimp (Team-BHP Newsletters)
- Tapatalk (for the useless Android & iOS Team-BHP Apps)
- Two other SaaS I'd rather not name (used for the Team-BHP Store)
- Amazon Prime / Prime Video
- Office 365 (annual plan)
.
- Google Drive 100 GB (Life saver. No need to backup different cameras into CDs and Laptops)
- Amazon Prime - free shipping for Amazon buff. Video is an advantage.
- Google Play Music - Great Fidelity and Location/Day/Time based playlists. Average collection though.
- Jio Mags - Free but worth 1k/month. Read most magazines and Chacha Chaudhary comics to my kid at bedtime. Nostalgic
- Netflix - Average colection, but sharing with a friend so not bad.
- Hotstar - Primarily for live streaming of cricket matches on projector and move.
- Runtastic Premium - Got it free via a hack. Worth it at this price.
- Ola Select - Sedan cabs at Hatch prices. Airport lounge access - 1 per day unlike Credit card plans. Have a hack to share it across family.

Re: List your digital / online subscriptions here!

  • Netflix ( I consider this indulgence at the rate I watch Netflix versus how much I pay for it - 650 per month )
  • Amazon prime ( Free delivery + video content at ~40 per month when I subbscribed, value! )
  • Itunes ( 120 per month and all the music in the world )
  • Hotstar ( only when I need to watch GoT )
  • Sunnxt ( at 50 per month, super value with good collection of south movies )
  • Google drive -100GB ( ~100 per month good enough to share photos with family )

Kaspersky Internet Security
Amazon Glacier for Photo Backup - .005/GB, I use this to archive and backup Photos.

Planning to go for Amazon Prime, I do not have much volume of orders, hence still not subscribed.

Re: List your digital / online subscriptions here!

Sorry OT but I'm surprised to see the down votes for Netflix.

It has an ever expanding collection of TV series and movies, prime/hotstar don't even come close. Regional movies/ TV series are under served, I'd agree.

- Netflix - 1 screen plan
- Amazon prime - delivery + stick
- Gaana (3 month subscription)
- Apple music (finishing off the 3 month trial)
- Tunnel Bear VPN
- dlife.in
