Paid 16.2K..Its a vx2255wm model with webcam and mic...Height, Swivel, Tilt, Pivot adjustable..Its sleek and glossy. I think the dell one also costs about the same with delivery charges. The only difference is dell is not height and swivel adjustable but has 4 usb ports. The dell looks cool too.. Spec wise both are head to head. Also check out the viewsonic with ipod dock, usb and card reader. I had a 19" ipod dock model before, the card reader comes in handy at times. That model also costs the same but I was not interested cos it was not height adjustable.

My friend got the Dell 22" with integrated Webcam for 14K. However only Dell employees get this offer. So if you know someone in Dell who can get it for you, go for it.

Nah , its just a very, VERY low end rig. you cant get anything else for ~20k. The processor is spanking new ( LE series). If it was a dealer trying to clear old stock, he'd have gotten a 3200+ , or a processor with that numbering scheme.

jk, just post the budget , and we can hammer out a good config

That is a very very very very very x infinity bad deal

Recently purchased for 9.5k with bill and warranty.
Sempron LE AM2 1100 - 1.9 Ghz
Gigabyte MOBO with Nvidia card 128 MB
Mouse / keyboard
ATX cabinet
Liteon DVD writer
Western Digital SATA 80 GB HDD
1 GB DDR2 Ram 667 MHZ

Adding a tft and ups will just make it max 9 K more so total comes out to be 18.5K max with B/w

A better option would be instead of LE processor get AMD X2 4000+ and ASUS Mobo with nvidia chipset. This will cost Rs 5 - 5.5K. You can try other boards too Like MSI or Jetway. Please instead of LG go for Liteon DVD writer. 1GB Kingston DDR2 only costs 1.2K at max 2 GB is for 1.7 -1.9K.

Before everyone shoots at me why i got the above config for 9.5k it was for friends son. hes just 3 and likes to mess around LOL and that is more than enough for him unless he learns computers.

Yes, infact you get only 148.9 GB from a 160 GB HDD. Same thing applies to a memory card you buy for a mobile. Do you ever get full 1 GB free space from a 1 GB mobile memory card ?

I have a dedicated server for storage .

config of the server is HP proliant ML150 .
2.4ghz xeon ,
512 mb ecc ram ,
73 *2 scsi
500 gb *2 ide drives

o/s is windows server 32 bit . ( i picked the server for a price of 24,000 without the HDD .

Desktop is an AMD athlon 64 x2 -4000ghz
mainboard is m2npv-mx (asus )
8gb memory 667 mhz
19' dell tft ( bought it without warranty for 10,000 about 1.5 yrs back )
scsi card 39320 (320 card )
36 gb ultra 320 drive scsi
dvd writer liteon
scratch disk 80 gb ide
windows server 64bit o/s

Laptop is dell 700m 1.6 centrino ,120gb hdd (replaced it) ,1gb ram 12 inch screen

Router is netgear 614 w7 .

I am into photography , so what ever i shoot goes into the server and since I have gigabit lan on both my server ,as well as my desktop I use the server for storage and I use the desktop for editing stuff in photoshop .

Since i deal with computer components I got all the stuff at good prices . Actually , i got the server because it was cheap . I could have used a via board ,running linux for storage LOL .

The scsi drives cost me half the price for what you normally end up paying in the store and the cards were also got at a very good price . I still have some scsi cards and drives for sale .

Incase anyone needs any computer components ,configurations please do mail me , I would be glad to help .
