Not for me, at least. But I have not tried gaming for a long period, and have never used an Xbox.

I too was in a dilemma on whether to buy an Xbox with Kinect over PS3 with Move.
The PS3 won owing to the Blu-ray player and also because the Kinect needs more space to play with, per feedback on this forum. This apart, the Xbox with a bigger hard disc costs more.

Further, when I play any game like TT, I'd rather be holding something in my hand (that feels like a bat), than swing my empty hands (there is nothing to hold in the Kinect).

My B.I.L in England was strongly advocating the Kinect as he'd bought one a month ago. But later he said he was annoyed that he could not put the hard disc to pretty much use becuase Microsoft restricts the sites one can visit.

thanks friend, i too have bought a PS3 320 GB with Move from Planet M, and purchased game: Sports Champion, it has many games and i love the TT, and yes IMHO i do agree with you that the feel of holding something in hand is better than throwing hands in the air

Congrats and welcome to the club! So I guess it must have cost you around 25 K with the Sports Champion, right?

I was fortunate to get 2 hdmi cables for less than 3 USD plus 5 USD for shipping via Amazon.

I bought the following games:-

Tom Clancy's Hawx2
GT5
Call of Duty Black Ops

So far I've only played with the first one, having good glimpses of Tokyo airport and city.

Scratch-free pre-owned games should be fine.

i played GOW I and found that the PS3 GOW is different from the GOW of PS2, is it so that different GOW is for different console.

can anybody suggest me how to procure a Stand for PS3 and how is it useful, except saving that extra space.

Do you need one? I've place mine vertically (with the start button on the top sideways) and have not faced any issue with it. Of course, I do have a support around 4 inches beside it, in case it topples over owing to some careless maid. So far it has held its ground.

True, stand is a complete waste. I also keep my PS3 as described by vnabhi above. It is quite difficult to topple over, reason being that most of its weight is towards the bottom if you keep it in the vertical position.
