Well i have never tried watching movies on my PS2..have seperate DVD player for that so cant say..Why do you wanna Watch movies on PS2 and use/depreciate its lens when you can get DVD players as cheap as 2000 bugs...Better keep it for playing games only....Best of luck...

Guys, i bought a pc game today (coast to coast) and its not working in my laptop. Can anyone throw some light on it please. The error comes as unable to create direct3d device with current settings, please run the configuration tool and check that video settings are valid.

mine is a Dell INSPIRON 6400, with 1.6GHz, 1GB Ram and 120 GB HD

That means you dont have that gud a display on your lappy...Just read on back side of the cover how much display memory the game requires it can be 128 MB or 256 MB...If latest game then can even be 512 MB......Mind you.. am talking about Display memory not RAM....now after this..Check how much Display power your lappy has most probably it must be having 64MB or Maximum of 128 MB....Best of luck......

I just bought a PS2 in US (SCHP79002). But after buying I keep hearing that this one is NTSC - U/C and so will not play in India, cant use games bought in India etc. I think my TV supports NTSC and PAL. So, that should be ok right? May be only the games DVD that I buy in India if it is region bound, then may not work.
Is my understanding right?

Its been 3 months since i bought the PS3, and have'nt yet played a decent racing game on it. I bought the PS3 only to play GT5 and its release is ever gettin postponed.

Ps. I don't have a ps2, and have'nt experienced GT4. Any B'lore members want to sell their PS2..??

play richard burns rally on a pc to explore all the present wrc cars ,pwrc and jwrc ..........can u tell to the shops u have been to coz i want wrc rally evolved urgently

Yep even i've been looking for rally games WRC or Richard burns. I've scanned Palika bazaar in new delhi but no luck! They say these are old games and hence unavailable

Has anyone tried burning a PS2 ISO downloaded from the net to a DVD? Will it work on the PS2?

yes , the ps2 .iso files downloaded from net work perfectly . infact they work the best because i burn it on dvd with 1X speed . many games which i have bought hang up(they might have been burned at a higher speed) but have never faced this problem with the ones which i download.

Also, does it play on non-modded PS2 as well?
