Looking forward to learning more from you guys |
Ended up tinkering a lot. Torn FEP, too many failed prints, and at one point of time, resin leaked onto Lcd and damaged half of it. I still kept using the 3inch Lcd and got only 1 or 2 models to print at a time. Too time consuming.
Hence, upgraded to elegoo saturn 4 ultra last September. That experience has been awesome. It was indeed plug and play out of the box. Great clarity and very fast indeed. What used to take phrozen sm4k 6 hours, takes just 1.5 hrs for the Elegoo S4U. and a huge build plate means I now can print 4 times more in one third the time.
But this was all for professional use. I did try out a few hobby prints, but those I think would be better with fdm printing. Functional parts etc.
So now looking for ender v3 or bamboo A1 mini purely for hobby printing.
Let's see how it pans out. |
