Has anyone played Grid 2? I have come across some good reviews about it.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of Dirt 2. It was one of the finest rally games by Codemasters. But they screwed up the Dirt 3 by introducing some nonsense like Gymkhana and similar stuff. However Codemasters have promised that they will stick to pure rally in the next iterations of the dirt series. What we really expect from the Dirt series is long beautiful rally stages from across the world. Let them bring out a seperate series for Gymkhana, Baja, bug, etc. Rally fans dont care about those stupid events.

Euro Truck Simulator is one of the best simulators I've played till now. Although the game might seem pretty serious to 1st timers, you can actually have a lottt of "fun", here's how -

Some insanity that I tried out by installing a Hummer H2 Mod in Euro Truck Simulator.

Even tried going sideways!

Here's another mod - dual trailers.

Some random fun I've had till now :

An attempt at driving "on" the English Channel

Over-taking, A La Indian Trucker style !

Overtaking gone awry

Leaving the trailer parked bang in the middle of a junction led to this pile up. I still wonder how, considering that all the vehicular movement is pre-programmed in such simulators.

I used to play CS 1.6 a lot while I was at university. We had our own private server setup for it and used to play between different dorms. Still do sometimes - single player with bots

Haven't played Global Offensive - how good is it over the original?

It's quite good actually. Over the original, a few weapons have been added, along with new modes and new Maps, and overall much better graphics.
I got the game for 489/- when there was a sale going on. MRP is 699/-. Currently game is on Flipkart for 559/-

I was so good at Quake 3 that if I wanted I would have become a professional Quaker. Even in the US I used to own a lot of death match games on internet multiplayer. Work pressure slowly had me drift away from such a mentally demanding game and stick to my other childhood favourite: Mortal Kombat series on my Playstation.

Reading this thread I somehow stumbled upon the latest Mortal Kombat (Komplete edition) for PC and I am downloading it from Steam currently.

Guys, i started playing FSX yesterday. And sure as hell, it just baffled me. Considering me as total noob, could you recommend me a guide to fsx. The controls are too much, and terminology is bouncing over heads.

I hope you are flying FSX using a joystck, because using the keyboard or the mouse for flight is hopeless.

I have a Thrustmaster HOTAS X joystick and it has made my simming experience far more immersive and fun than using a normal joystick. It is a bit on the higher side, but since i fly other air combat sims I consider it a worthy investment.

There are videos on youtube which will help you learn FSX quickly. For example, I never was able to figure out how to configure the aircraft for Autopilot landing on FSX. There are brilliant videos on youtube for this.
