Since, I have posted more than 50 macros already, no plan to bore people, so continuing with my humble 35mm f/1.8 ! Once I am done with this, it will be a transition to 50mm f/1.4 , I just love the primes.

I liked the red rim light around his hair and face that was coming from a Scorpio break light ahead, which inspired me to click. Instant utilization of available resources...LOL. ISO-1600.

Love these kind of clicks. Wish i had half the courage to click a stranger! Infact, i still remember- TG had posted a very similar shot long time back, before he went to US, i guess.

50 1.4? Thats new? You had 50 1.8 before moving on to 35 1.8, right?

With 50 1.8. We finished off the remaining crackers yesterday-

TG had posted similar ? I dont remember !
The only fixed lenses I ever had was Tamron 90mm 2.8(sold) and present 35mm 1.8. Never owned a 50mm, so planning to get a 1.4 when budget permits . G lenses are expensive from Nikon which provides a manual override.

Your image is looking nice, is it not natural light from the fireworks ? I would prefer the face towards the right side with more of the hand and the fireworks ! We Indians are blessed with our diversity, there is a subject almost everyday ! With multiple religions and festivals, a DSLR can never rest in its bag .

So I got myself a 100mm f3 manual focus Vivitar Lens for Nikon. Got is from a shop selling off ridiculously old lenses. Picked it up for just $35, its really old I guess. Anyways here's a macro from me after a very very long time.

@Shaju
Heres the similar shot I had taken, which Crazydriver had remembered. It was clicked during a visit to Mumbai last year.

Thanks, I feel like removing my image after checking yours
The red roof and the light adds more life and the composition is 10 steps above

Hi Ram,
Was your sunset photographed on 8th of this month?
I too shot, from my deck with its light falling on the east, because I noticed it was exceptionally yellow that evening.

Yes, its a paper weight
I somehow really liked all the black around it, so kept it like that.

Here is another similar shot,

Thanks shaju.

I was actually as far behind as a can (We were standing on the terrace). However, i could have framed it better. My worry was getting both in the shot, forgot composition.
