I was under impression that a much higher speed would be needed for such a shot, Will give it a try some time
Even I used to think that very high shutter speeds would be necessary for freezing in these kind of shots but its actually the flash that freezes action.....check out chase jarvis' high speed photography blog.

Thanks mate. And that is a wonderful, serene picture right there. Can you send me the original image? I would love to use it as my desktop. Let me know and I'll PM you my email address.

Nice shot. Not a perfect silhouette, as the black & white stripes in the bermuda are visible

Thanks guys, I am on the letter 'A' in my learning process ! Still struggling with the exposure, shutter speed, aperture basics. This time I forgot my tripod, but has taken a decision never to travel without it. Here is a 3 second exposure of the famous Saligao church, Goa.

Shaju, amazing pictures, especially of the sunset and even the church came out pretty good.

How about sharing the exif data along with your pictures? Also, which camera your using?

Just posting a picture I took today morning while on an official journey, several years after serious amateur photography somehow ended. Happened to see the graceful gentleman having a relaxed journey on the unusual bicycle and remembered the LZ8 in my bag and couldn't resist the temptation. Shot the moving subject from a moving diesel Jeep.

Interesting. I've seen such cycles in Germany.

This is a Front Engined, rear wheel drive.

Mobike, its a Nikon D60. I rated and still rate my clicks are far from perfection, so never thought someone would ask the exif data ! Here is the summary of what appears on this page.

Sunset with the human image on left:
55 mm, F/7.1, 1/400 sec, ISO-100, Shutter priority, Exposure 0 step.

Church:
24 mm, F/10, 3 seconds, ISO-100, Shutter priority, Exposure 0 step.

I take it as a big appreciation! Thanks!
But why me & mukul together? He is in a different league altogether. Me no way near him.
