Dear all.
Thanks for your appreciating and complementing my pics., I really value that as it comes from you guys who are very good at photography and post processing.
About the Neel Gai charge, like I mentioned it was more than 10 years back. My cousin was out of the open enclosure who shot the action with his Canon (Neel Gai and me in frame) and to my bad luck what could I do reflexively? The moment I checked the shutter speed apparture and aimed the camera at the animal for framing it, through the lens I see a charge taking place in my view finder, at that moment it is human not to belive this happening, in the following split seconds I moved the camera for a direct view of (what I think I saw a charge). Thats it!! the camera never got back in the aiming position again.
My cousins camera too was a SLR, since he lives in Houston now and I doubt if the film was developed or printed.

@hellstar: The first and the third pictures are amazing.

@TG: Great shots of pelicans.. ! Difficult to believe that it was shot with a 70-200. What is the exif? ISO, shutter speed aperture and all?

Here's a 'Butt'erfly from my side. Shot last weekend, with my 70-210. ISO 100, 1/250s, F/5.6, @210mm

Hellstar,
Yes! "The monkey with a Deathwish" pic. is very well composed and has come out nice. The third one is magical, except for the movement on the coconut palm leaves.

TG,
The migrating pelicans...when viewed for long, takes you right into the cold grey monotone.
Regards,

@clevermax
Well I got really close to them in order to take the shot.
EXIF:
F-stop f/5.6
Exposure time 1/1000 sec.
ISO speed ISO-320

Pretty insect there!

@Fazal
You just said it absolutely right. When I was walking on the cold beach I noticed these pelicans flying in lines above. They were too far away. I noticed a cliff thats really high and looked as though it was really close to the pelicans areal highway. And also there was a trail leading up to it. So I hiked for about 20 mins to climb atop the clif and almost saw these birds barely a few meters away from me!!! And yeah, it was so damn cold! I was almost frozen by the time I reached the top of the cliff!

@HKanitkar
Thanks man.

@Hellstar
The last pic is really nice.

A long exposure using the 70-200 lens, from the balcony of the beach house i was staying at.

Shot in Hyderabad, Dec. 07. Again from the zoo, as you all know the wild has no white tigers.
These shots were taken low evening winter light , there was not much I could do about the slow shutter speed I had to use.

If I was good, I would have got the complete reflection of the tiger in frame, it would be a more valueable pic.

Notice the reflection of the head, which I particularly like in this pic. and also the surging movement of the water due to powerful paw propulsion.
