I have a question for the experts.
when using manual focus on landscapes, what i do is I zoom the lens to the farthest object I can see clearly, then fine adjust the focus with the ring in front(I dont know the technical term for that part).
Then, I zoom back out to the required composition and click.
is that the best way to do it?

My first attempt to do photo stitch. I was not able to get what I was thinking I would

The first one was ok as it had only 2 photos.

But the next 2 had more than 4 pictures and hence became like a circle. (Particularly the 2nd one)
When I took it I could see it in next to next on the screen.



Any hints to follow while taking those photo stitch options?

These are the points I keep in mind
* Expose for the brightest portion of the scene you are photographing(You will not see the join line as in the 3rd pic), and switch to M mode and use the same exposure settings for all the photos in the sequence, If you are using a P&S then the photostich mode will ensure that all pics are shot at the same exposure settings of the first one.
* Use a tripod or atleast try to keep the horizon as straight as possible.
* Shoot as many as I want ensuring that atleast 40% of the pictures overlap

I know team bhp has seen this very same spot near my house in plenty of my photos, but the sky was soooooo good, I just have to post this pic.
