No tripod. It was hand held at f9. Hence the slight blur. It was about 15mm in overall length.

Nice shots bro.
But I was under the pretext that filming/shooting Trains/Railway Stations is prohibited in India? Is this true?

I've heard of the ban in airports/airplanes. Not heard of that restriction in train stations.

Reminds me of the incident when the Tamil actor Kamal Hassan tried to visit the US. At the airport they asked him the purpose of his visit......and he promptly answered "for shooting". Rumour is that they didn't let him go.
(Don't know whether this actually happened.)

Presenting some pics which I took in the campus of IIT-Kanpur:

The second one is the pic which I liked the most among all the pics I have ever taken.

All photos are unedited.

I think there is some confusion about this. Im pretty sure that certain airports which double up as Air Force bases - Pune, Chandigarh, Goa, probably even Bangalore-HAL - you're not allowed to take pictures. And the ban in-flight still stays. I know a photographer friend who was shooting the interior of a Kingfisher plane for a story on Kingfisher and the crew prevented him from doing so. This was a few months back. He had to take special permission and Kingfisher in turn had to ask DGCA.
